If you want to run Empty4 on a Mac you should buy a copy of Crossover. It's only about $25. Then you can run the most up to date version that runs on a PC.

Sorry for the basic question: I'm using a mac Empty4 from September 2013 (its the only mac Empty4 my provider has).
I've downloaded the package from page 1 as well as the updates from the indi solutions thread. When I apply the template, the indicators under the chart don't appear. I've tried dragging them on without success.

Is my problem that the indis required Empty4 600 or above?

Thanks cmeade, if you recommend that and if I need to I'll check that out. Right now I'm using a mac Empty4 from VantageFX which is very simple and works well. I'm just trying to ascertain first whether the indis here need v600 or up.

I´m loving 10.7 Opening my mind to new patterns and signals.

Well, this looks as a strong signal for 1H scalpers:

When the Daily stoch drops in the middle of an 1H stoch divergence a big move is coming.

An example taken from NZDUSD 1H.

Yes but you have to realize that most probably, the Daily and/or the Weekly were probably not in the location you picture on the gold dot. For example, in your picture right now, NzdUsd is probably going to drop hard tonight and tomorrow, as signaled by many indicators, including the triple divergence of stoch 7 you show in your picture, yet look where the Daily and the Weekly are now... Upstairs, signaling long only and thus not allowing you to short. Now, if tonight and tomorrow this thing falls like I think it is going to do as indicated by TMA, etc, when you look back on it and analyze it, the Daily and the Weekly will be at the bottom because the actual drop in price will have brought them down with it. You have to be careful with past history with 10.7... Especially until the Weekly has enough price data to establish a trend for the week.

Hi, Al

Yes, that was my first impression saturday when I read the system rules. That this will be a system to start in the opening of tuesday´s asian session, when the bias for the week would be something solid.

In fact, I´m remembering something very interesting from the Crossfader thread. JLGarcia noticed that an user (nick "Getting", I thing he is an indonesian guy) was having impressive results with the EA while others were failing. He noticed that Getting started to use the EA in the tuesday´s opening of the asian session and stoped in friday´s NY opening. JL even coded a mod with a 'trading times' feature to make the EA work only in these periods. The logic inside this is that this EA works stacking postions and once it starts it´s very important that the direction be the right one; in other case, it will stack losing trades. If you start on monday, where the weekly direction is not yet decided, you risk entering in a suicidal way.

Hard thing of this: can we wipe mondays from our trading routines? Of course not. Even if you have a professional approach, you will not able to sacrifice the thrill of entering when the markets open. I tried but I couldn´t. But at least, now I use only very little positions on mondays, just as a gambling day.

I hope your ribs are getting well. Cuídate, amigo.

Thanks, I am better every day...

Yes. Not trading on Monday and the Asian Tuesday session is an option, but as you say, not very realistic considering the level of our addiction to this... For now, I am going with signals from 10.6 for Monday while I watch 10.7 and get a feel for when you can fully trust it. In the example I mentioned from your picture, it is actually even worse, because the system is giving you buy signals even though it is showing divergences in Sto7, so if it drops tonight you will end up with a loser. I believe you have to be very patient with 10.7 until a trend is established. I totally agree with Bob that once the trend is established for that week, it usually continues till Friday so there is great logical merit to 10.7. The Forex crowd seems to think one week at a time...

As I said this morning, we are getting the big drop in Nasdaq. If it sticks to the script, the drop will accelerate after 2:00 PM EDT. We may be heading for a whopper of a drop. We´ll see... The xxxJpy pairs should follow, BUT there is a BOJ rate announcement tonight so we have to be very careful...
