j & zhengzuodong , is it possible to make Time set Automatic under the hood ? automatic detect local time dan GMT broker (include daylight saving time), Asian Market open time, European Market open and US market open

and just make optional External setting like this?

UseAsiaMarketOpen : True / False
UseEUMarketOpen : True / False
UseUSMarketOpen : True / False

so no need to setting manually the Time (easy setting) and more easy to explore and backtest

i think EA need Exit strategy using reversal indicator (don't know which one is the best and accurate), in case the price don't hit TP (Full ATR or Hard TP) and Turn back. Close on price reversal if order in profit, thought?

Still Testing v25 here, took a little time to get it working, set ATR false and DynamicLots false

it runs ok for a while and then EA is closed with error
sl/tp order modify failed with error(130)

Thnx acs for testing it. I did some testing lastnite and I was really tired so I didn't go as far as u did. So Thnx agin man.

Well the good news is that the EA does the job it SEES a FAILURE!! If you notice, the last order that was placed was immediately closed when the SL and TP were not set correctly. Isn't that awesome!! LOL. Imagine you would of been asleep and the EA placed the order with no stops on a live account!!! LOL.

Error 130 means invalid SL/TPs. I am attaching an updated EA to get more info on the error. This version is still 2.5 I only added more descriptive ERROR that can be read by humans, lol. Run the EA exactly as you ran it before with the same parameters etc etc etc. You will see in the journal a more descriptive ERROR. It will show what function it failed at and values for HardSL, HardTP, StopLoss Price Level and TakeProfit level that were used to set TP and SL. Once you have that info send me a screenshot and we'll take it from there...... Oh send a screen shot of the simulator inputs as well. BTW the broker you are using do they send their orders with an Instant Order or Market Order. Go to your charts, hit F9, and their you will see which order type it is. Let me know.

Oh one more thing. If you see can't see the whole error message on the journal screen then go to the logs. Since you are running the simulator go to the '/tester/logs' Folder. Get the latest log (use the dates). In that text file we will see the complete error line that is partly shown in the journal. HECK, if you want just send me the log, lol, that will have everything on it LOL, no need for screen shots.

BTW what did u mean 'took a little time to get it working'? Was it cause of the setting up the inputs??

Oh remember, DynamicLots just messes with the lots that will be used. So either the order will have the lots you specify in the HardSL input or they will be calculated according to 1/2 ATR SL calculation. So that should not affect the SL or TP.

(note: For those not familiar 'grand SLAM' is a baseball term which can be used to mean a GREAT SUCCESS. The equivalent might be like the ultimate goal in soccer, akin to the PELE style of kicking the ball to score while flipping in the air).

No problem with the idea you mention. However, I am going to leave it alone. Reason being, the approach already has it's own exit strategy. In fact the HardTP is already a change to the strat. The reason it was implemented was because it was very easy to do. Whereas adding an exit strat based on another indication, even though not difficult to do, would take a little more effort.

If I did add a reversal strat it would be done in the simplest fashion. I would make a function that at each tick the EA would check what is called a GLOBAL VARIABLE. If the GLOBAL VARIABLE was say 1 then I would have the EA CLOSE THE OPEN TRADE. If the GLOBAL VARIABLE is 0 then do nothing. SO if any coders want to tackle, go for it, all you need to do is set some GLOBAL VARIABLE to 1 or 0 . For example the GLOBAL VARIABLE cold be called Symbol+"_ExitStratOnTP". Then in the Coin Flip EA I would just look for that VARIABLE to see if it is set to 1 or 0 and voala !!! The exit strat could then be ANYTHING, in any fashion, in any way done. The Coin Flip EA would not care, all it would look for is a 1 or 0 on that GLOBAL VARIABLE

BTW GLOBAL VARIABLES are set in a file and remain there for 30 days if you do nothing with them. (I think that's the number, don't remember, I know it is alot of days LOL) . These GLOBAL VARIABLES are available to any EA, script, or other indicator for reading. Handy stuff for when you turn off your Empty4 or for that matter your machine... you can essentially make your EA remember everything a CHART had or was doing before your computer got turned off.

my initial problem was v25 would not take any trades until I found
switching DynamicLots to false let it take trades and so I can't run with it set to true
and now the updated v25 with additional error reporting has errors when compiling
