My shell EA code

Latest versions of my shells are in post 1. They include Paul's enhanced chart feedback code. Read the section 'Enhanced chart feedback' for instructions about adding this code to your existing EA's.

You could not be more welcome mop. The likes of Paul send me stuff because they know I will share it widely. I love it when that happens.

Latest versions of the three main shells and user guide are in post 1.

Most of the changes are cosmetic because I have re-formatted code snippets to suite my taste. I have renamed the old init(), deinit() and start() functions to reflect the changes to these in CrapQl5 and included an explanation of TradingTimeFrame and how I use it.

No earth-shattering changes though, so not a vital re-download.

I forgot to add a coloured arrow for the trade closure. I see two downloads of the shells from post 1 before I added the fixed code, so those two people might want to change
bool result = OrderClose(ticket, OrderLots(), OrderClosePrice(), 1000, CLR_NONE);

to

bool result = OrderClose(ticket, OrderLots(), OrderClosePrice(), 1000, clrBlue);

to make it more obvious on the chart snapshot the ea will take.

Quick question - any plans to release a generic multi-pair EA shell... Am trying to adapt one of your recent projects but am struggling somewhat....

It seems as though turning off AutoTrading does not actually stop an EA any more, so I added this snippet to the start of OnTick in the latest versions in post 1:

Mop, next time my occd needs a good scratch and I have nothing else to do, I will develop the multi-pair shell.

Latest versions of the three shells I still use are in post 1 - a few bits of tidying up here and there.

For the guts of the update, read 'Closing/modifying/deleting trades' and 'Matts Order Reliable Code' on page 1.

I realised there is a better way of protecting ourselves from the cretins breaking Matt's code. Go back to the section about Matt's Order Reliable code in post 1 if you downloaded the updates before the time stamp on this post.
