OK, the OverallProfit value would let us limit losses, basically acting as a "SL" on the whole strategy. That's good. We'd have to experiment with it and see if closing at arbitrary points like that messes up the win/loss stats.

Hi Dietmar & Dragos,

Thanks for that promising EA ! I just read the two thread and one word : "Wow!" :)

I just setup it on my VPS on a Alpari-UK micro account (.01 lots accepted) and on two pairs, E/U and G/U.
Both on M5 on a 5K demo account.

The results will be posted real time here : https://www.myfxbook.com/fr/portfolio/e ... emo/201388 (just need the activation).

One thing, everything was working OK for E/U but on G/U I got the "Invalid Stop" errors. Generally it means that the stop is a bit too low for the broker.
Maybe you can check the min stop allowed by the broker and raise it accordingly ?
You can check with this : MarketInfo(Symbol(),MODE_STOP_LEVEL)

Can't be, stops are huge on the orders.

I'm sorry it had took so long, but finally we have a working version.I mean it works ok in forward test too, not only in ST.Update in post 1.

Seems when you are "outside trading hours" but have "OpenNewGrid" set to true, the EA still place stop.
I got trades during the night (1:47am & 4:38am).

Strange, but what GridStart time you have in settings?
It shouldn't place grid only AFTER that hour(minute). Basically, should be 24 hours trading as settings, as we use just the starting grid time as reference.

Trading time are : 7:10/12:00 and 12:00/17:00.
GridStartingTime is set to 7:00.

Annoter thing, seems today nothing happened yet.
Maybe there is a non trading on Friday feature ?

In fact, the ea don't trade since I installed the latest version this morning.
Maybe it can help.

Hmm, how do you expect to trade, if GridStart time outside trading hours?
