Maybe change maxBars to a smaller number? Maybe change UpdateOnNewBarOnly to false?

Do your pairs have suffixes?

I just installed a new instance of Metatrder from FXDD. It updated build 445. It worked right away but the plot was wrong. I had to switch to H1 and back to H4.

Congratulation for your thread. I will follow it with great interest. I somehow feel that we only discovered 5% of the BE capabilities. I am looking forward to read your findings.

Here is an interesting picture. See how these 6 currencies have a symmetric shape (look at them 2 by 2). EUR with AUD, USD with NZD and GBP with JPY. Maybe this can help with your strategy ?

The basket (currently $130) was created when USD equity line crossed lwma 21 top to bottom and then, I added JPY when it crossed the lwma 21 bottom up. Just hoping to give you some food for thought.

I installed the Cowboy IBFX platforn. The template/indicator works but there was a fairly long calculation for each timeframe. Also I had to switch timeframes to get a correct plot. I noticed earlier this indicator is a resource hog, which is why I have UpdateOnNewBarOnly = true. With this setting it runs fine with 12 charts.

Jack, one thing you may want to check: look farther back. In my own currency-basket experiments, I was getting fabulous results with AUD for the last year. Then I looked back 5 years, and whoops! It lost more in 2010-2011 than it made in 2012. AUD trended really well in the last year but it didn't before that. Much of your baskets are heavily weighted with AUD, so....
