Hi Aussiedoc - could you possibly post that little clock and was it pips ? in the top right corner of your chart or, advise where I can grab it from. I am in Brisbane and sometimes forget London and EST times, particularly around when they change. That is a neat unobtrusive little beastie.

I mistakenly omitted v1q from my USDCAD chart so I missed that trade. :(
AGT, it looks like you captured this trade as well.

V1q did get me in short on EURUSD more recently. The previous High SL was/is being put to the test.

Loaded v1q late yesterday my time and it opened short on the NZDJPY overnight!

Rjo, I'm still demoing v1q but not getting many trades - 8 trades since 6/12 (with 1 still open which is currently at +312 pips) Overall an increase of 3.3% with more profit locked in already. I don't seem to get any of the trades you get, but I am sure that is just a broker difference.

With my own version I am trading since 12/12 ...it has taken a few more trades (15 - 11 closed & 4 currently open which combined are currently +415 pips) an increase of 2.63%.

I have found with both versions, by setting BE+2 at 50 pips and trailing stop at the previous candle high/low. This has allowed me to follow the trend and pocket most of the profit. Trades are closed purely & simply when price retraces to the previous candle high/low. Generally when this occurs it also sets up a reverse trade, so a trade is then taken in the opposite direction.

This has worked very well and I have started to trade this method (sml lots) on my live account.
I am only targeting 5% per month so quite happy with the results so far.

I have a US account with two magic numbers would i be able to use the Hedging ferature?
The magic numbers do I have to switch them for each pair that I have the EA on?

This is pretty much a text book example of how using a trailing stop on previous candle high/low works so effectively. Trade closed at +284 pips. This demo account is now at +5.9% (drawdown 0.54%) with one trade still open which is currently +30

Bottom line is you don't need too many of these trades per month to be successful...my personal goal is 5% per month which should be achievable.
