Hanover: an auto-trader using Recent Strength

I have H trading live on one of my brokers.. I want to trade it on another account at a different broker.. The recent strength indy is not working. This broker has a suffix of fx as in AUDUSDfx,M15 and I added that for the suffix. Can anyone verify that they have this running with a broker that uses a suffix?

Don't set up the indi on separate criminal accounts. Set it up once one one demo, then use WatchAndCopy to copy the output file to any accounts you want to have access to the data.

It makes no difference that the demo account does not use a suffix on the currency symbol and the live one does?

I am wondering if you can add a filter to not allow trading for JPY currency pairs. I am concerned about Yentervention. I trade this on a 4 hr time frame, so long YEN trades make me nervous.

Would it work to remove them from the currencies hanover looks at, or do you think there is value in still having it in the strength/weakness mix?

I would like it to be there to be short the yen, but not long. The ability to restrict it trading long Yen when desired I.e. keep an eye on levels, turn long Yen off, then open it back up after next round of intervention. So to be more precise, is it possible to have a user selection to trade only 1 direction for the yen much like it has for the high interest pairs currently.

Another thing to consider. I am anticipating a prolonged period of weakness for the AUD and NZD based on a global recession. Until they lower their interest rates, some of the roll over fees are outrageous. I currently close trades with high rollover costs before rollover and re-open them after, especially on Wednesdays. It is much cheaper to pay the commission than the rollover fee. It would be nice if this was n option that was automated.


**** After further review, this may be better done manually as I can pick when to restart based on price action and get a better entry.

With all that is going on, and with what this request highlighted needed fixing in the Hanover code, nobody has addressed the request itself. I trade Hanover live on several accounts. This is the only issue that makes me nervous. I admit I have no idea how difficult or time consuming this would be to add, but it sure would be useful.
