If all conditions are met i enter as soon as the arrow appers.

The arrow appears anytime there is a cross, it dosent wait till the close of the candle.

Ok. I imagine this will degrade the machine's performance significantly, but there is nothing to be done about that.

The EA will be up and running later - it is nearly finished now but I have a lesson in a few minutes.

Also, I am using my shell to code it, and this comes with the usual panoply of thingies. Shall I: 1) leave them in; 2) Remove them altogether; 3) Hide them without removing so they can be easily recovered later.

I suggest 1), apart from the open trade management stuff, but the call is yours.

:D
Thanks Boss. I go with option 1 (leave them in).

Thanks a million

Boss, if entering at the close of the cadle of which the arrow had appear will limit pc usage then i think it will be better that way, or better still have an option of turning it OFF or ON. ( enter at close of cadle =ON, enter as soon as the arrow apears =OFF)

If this looks like having legs, I shall import the indi code into the ea - it only consists of calls to MA, ATR and RSI, so it is possible to bring them in house. It is just that I lose the will to live when reading indi code, which is why I have not done so yet. Plus, I am in a hurry.
Hey, what's wrong with indi code?

First test aud/usd janaury 2012 OOTB, I only changed the lot size to 0.1

I found this error in the journal " object name passed to ObjectType function cannot be an uninitialized or empty string". What could that be?

I have started the new thread at http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 7148#p7148

Re the string thingy, ignore it. This error happens because of a failure somewhere in my logic, just after Stealth has closed a trade.

:D
Read the effing manual, ok?

Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.

I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.

Anyone here feeling generous? My paypal account is always in the market for a tiny donation. pianodoodler@hotmail.com is the account.

Can you give information on stops and exits please?

Thanks!
Hi GT3RS,

I usually use a 90 pips TP ang a SL of 35 pips. You exit a treade as soon as you see an arrow in the opposite direction.

For better entry's look at the 4H and D1 trend and trade only in that direction on the 15 minutes chart. i.e if the 4H and D1 trend is UP you look to take only buy signals on 15M.

If you need more clearification pls feel free to ask.

Hi Fmfx,
What 4H & D1 trend indi you use?
And if 4H trend up, D1 trend down, you take only buy , only sell or not trading ?

Hi

You can skip D1 chart and use 4H and 1H to confirm the trend. You can use slope indicator for trend confirmation.

If 4H and 1H are against each other then don't trade. Hope its clear
