Hi Martin,

the explanation is very easy. I was running three EAs in my live account. After some time, I was aware that two of them were very risky and also losers, and one of them was a clear winner.

I closed the positions that exceeded a lot size of more than 0.01 lots for every 1,000 euros and let the selected EA (removing the other two) to manage the remaining positions. It will be a hard exercise for this EA because the positions were opened by another losers EAs, but I think it must be capable of managing these positions.

I also want to ask you something: are you trying to sell us something or only enunciating the virtues of B3? If so, very respectfully I think your Hotsauce topic must be moved to the Commercial wares section.

But I must warn you and repeat what most members of this forum are saying: none martingale EA is profitable in the long run, and I am very doubtful that any grid EA be profitable. Personally, I do not trade live any of them.

thank you very much for the insight regarding your risk management, I like!

I actually asked for permission to introduce my approach here however I guess I got it wrong with the intention of this part of the board. I agree that the commercial section is more suitable. I am always thinking from my viewpoint of being a trader and it is hard to accept that I am now reduced to a vendor. However I also love to just join the discussion here because in end I am also looking for sound investment strategies to run on my private account.

I have finished the programming of my own grid trading EA, that it is now in my signature, assuming the remaining positions opened by another EAs. I am not very fond of martingales, I trade only one set and one EA, but it is a multipair EA with a linear grid.

I would like to compare my results with yours beginning from 1st February. I think this would be beneficial for all the members here: compare a multipair grid EA against 13 specialized B3 pair sets. I recognize that my only advantage is stacking, but I also think that stacking is what differentiates a winner strategy.

What do you think?

My compromise is to maintain the account till it is margincalled or it wins.

Our compromise will be to not stop the EA or EAs under any situation, and do not enter manual positions or hedging.

I would like to compare my interpretation of my personal grid trading with yours, if possible.

Sure feel free to compare our results directly with yours you can use all information that you got from us and use it in any way you want, we have nothing to hide.

I like the idea behind your stacking and I am following with interest, I guess there are not many ways to make a grid work. A portfolio approach with some equity protection features is surely the right path.

Our Portfolio uses an anti snowball feature as each EA freezes the allocated balance when it opens a basket. Hence if the account drops due to other EAs hitting the stop loss this will still allow the freezed one to trade normally with the balance it needs. Of course this means that a second EP hit will be slightly more than the 9 to 14% that we usually have as the balance dropped in the meantime hence the percentage is larger.

This very important because otherwise one stop loss hit can cause a domino or snowballing effect which can hurt you badly.

Not sure about stacking as we have no experience.

Hi friends,

after near two months experimenting with my live account and some EAs, I have found the two EAs that will trade definitely my live account.

I must say that these two EAs were posted originally in this forum, but I have modified them so intensely that there are few semblances with the originals.

As some people say, trading, and particularly EAs are a question of faith. And my faith comes mainly because I am exhausted. I have added, extracted and debugged all the code imaginable to produce the two best multipair EAs from my point of view (I have even compiled them in mql5 to find bugs and inconsistencies) .

But now the task is over. I am not disregarding here what EAs they are, because the resemblance with the originals are blurry.

My aim, neither, is to demonstrate that EAs are profitable (you can see Marilyn to prove it), but something more subtle: that many pairs are correlated and a multipair EA (two in my case ) can benefit from this interrelation.

I am near my post number 500 :good: I wait not to have bored you so much with them. :!!:
