Many thanks for adding this into your portfolio. Enjoy watching as it churns through the profits and the power of many currencies playing against each other. Not a true grid trader, not a true swing trader, just seems to work very effectively for me all the same.
Hopefully with you promoting it via your portfolio others will jump on this 'set and forget' train.

Did you see this bot ever in serious "market storms" - the point is: you know - all the EAs have trouble in the situations called "black swan" (or even earlier ... :oops: ) .....

HI AGT,
Having only traded for a few years I have not ridden through many storms, and as for this EA well your guess is as good as mine, apart from my many forward test demos from last October. The current last one I posted a screenshot showing how good the ride could be, and as this EA trades the extremes with the RSI as its only indicator, we shall see how she travels through time.

My teenage son said it so aptly 'YOLO'. (You only live once :party: ). So, enjoy the EA, and my advice to anyone trying this is to trial it with a demo of $1500 which will simulate a live account with 15 currencies and watch it do its magic, with the added enjoyment of choosing more currencies as the account grows (say 1 per $100 gain, and remembering to take them off if a loss or two occurs!).

Also, I post two 1 min set files for your enjoyment, but these have a word of warning with them as the 1 min strategy won't handle the bigger moves (100 pips+) that the 4hr TF will.

Hi Ricky,
Yes use the 'equity stop' function = true as per parameters, but you have to be realistic to test so I would try either 10% of equity on $1000, or 5% of equity of $1000, to check how this function operates. Use the visual version with set file as this shows you the idea clearly.

PLEASE read my first page of this thread in total as I have explained everything rather alot there, including 4hr TF, and posted set file, and even recommendations of how to set up demo as I have done (as $1500 with 15 currencies)

I would think your answers should be there, but if not, try asking me another question and I will try and not be as sarcastic!!! Although with teenagers in my house it is difficult to not be :) :) .

My apologies, I presumed that the set file in post 1 might have been superseded since the EA in the first post had been re-programmed. I simply wanted to try and understand all the variables that are within the EA by comparing the 1M set file that you posted with a set file for the 4H timeframe.

It should be remembered that everyone's level of knowledge is different depending on the subject. We all use the internet and forums to better our knowledge and I was simply trying to understand what affect each input has.

My apologies for my previous post as must have been in a weird mood last night around NFP time, so sorry for making you uncomfortable. I should have remembered that I was only a newbie last week, and everyone is entitled to their opinions!!! :good: :good:

So, as for your post, I totally understand your confusion here as I didn't update the set files after announcing the EA had been modified. Please find below the .rar file that contains all the currencies I am trading. You may have picked up on the fact that the set files for the 1 min and the 4hr are totally different in step, and beware that this is a vigorous player versus the way slower 4hr version. With the 4 hr version some trades are on for days, as the 1 min version you get plenty of action and trades usually close within hours.

** Announcement for all reading this post.
I suffered an equity stop-out on GBPJPY overnight as my first setting was too fierce for this volatile pair, and have changed the set file for it and EURJPY. Settings are step = 20, and multiplier = 1.25. These and the others are all part of the .rar file underneath this post. If I continue to get stop-outs with the other pairs then I will be forced to modify set file and use GBPJPY settings ofr the others also. The other option is to change the equity stop to allow more draw down but bigger loss BUT having the likelihood of maybe not so many stop-outs!! And yes, if you start wiht a bigger capital base then the 10% equity stop may need to be changed allowing for max $200 is my initial ideas, so you don't kill off all your profit.

The main reason may be obvious that I would like to set up this EA and sleep at night knowing I might get the odd loss, but still have my account trading!!!
