Hi, Have added some comments to post 1 and uploaded v1.02 v1.02 -Add trade comments to make trades more traceable -Some code clean up and minor efficiency enhancements Dewey can you confirm that the trade rules are correct ? Also, any ideas on how to calculate the initial lot size based on the total risk of the whole basket ? It seems complicated upon closer study. Cheers |

Hello Spider, Thanks for your work, looking very good so far !! Would it be possible to code a semi automatic Mod of the EA without a trading logic attached? E.G. : The EA opens a trade long or short at the very next candle and then gets active only when the ALR Zone is reached and starts to manage the loss. This way we could test the ALR logic of the EA with our individual strategies and compare it to the automatic versions. Thanks, tex |

Hi tex, Once it is confirmed that things are fine with the main EA, that is something that can be considered. However, if you want a semi-auto mode, it means the main EA has to give up control of the trades after it is made. Any form of trailing stop loss or closing logic have to be completely shut off, as these will mess with the ALR progression. Cheers |

Empty4 treats any random trade as if the magic no is zero, of course only try on demo just in case I'm wrong. Eamonn. |

hmmm...think that could be done. Just set TradeLong and TradeShort to false and the main EA logic cant trigger a trade. At the same time, set the magic number to the same as what your EA is using. No promises on functionality since this was not what the EA was designed with in mind.  EDIT : Only problem will be that exit logic might be active with the original Ea and mess things up for you. Hi guys, I receive the following error message using Version 1.02 just for UCH. All other 10 pairs are running perfectly. I use a TF of 5M and the rest is OOTB. Does anybody has an idea what is wrong (I googled the error code - invalid lots amount). Thank you Stefan |

Hi Stefan I mentioned in first post this is for tf of 4h. If you intend to use it for M5...you need to edit all the settings for M5. Can you share you setfile here ? Not sure why it seems there was a calculation error for you. Will check it out. Cheers |
