Actually, yes you are missing something. Look at those arrows and where the market was in relation to the MA at the time.

Really useul pic though, woodlands, thanks. I was wondering what would happen when pendings were set whilst the market is so close to the MA. Now we know

One big difference in the development of the bots between FB and SB, is that I had run FB for a week before posting it. I posted SB as soon as I had coded and debugged it. I knew all of FB's wrinkles before posting.

We will have to decide what to do about this position at some stage. For now, leave the pendings in place if you have not already deleted them. If the market resumes its uptrend and the pendings fill, it will be interesting to observe their fate.

It could be that we need FB's MA proximity filter here as well. We shall see.

I forgot to explain the StochReadIntervalMinutes input in the "Stochastic inputs" section of post 1. I have added this explanation:
StochReadIntervalMinutes is a cpu saver. EA's reading indicators hammers your cpu, so this input tells SB how often to read Stochastic if EveryTickMode is enabled. By default, this is once a minute. Setting this to zero means SB will read the indi at every tick.

It was normal behavior. The spike triggered both stoch buy pendings (Stoch 10 & Stoch 20)

Is it true that the Stochastic indicator does not have to be on a chart for SB to recognize it? Thanks.

On my demos so far, SB sending pending trades rather than immediate market orders is winning hands down. No manual intervention yet.
