Now that the Pipcruiser EA (latest version) has a check to stop constant SL/TP changes I will start to look at this more seriously.

BTW my demo accounts with Jeremy over at GP were again blocked and my VPS blacklisted due to 'hyperactive' trading, so IMHO the latest version is an essential download. :oops:

I am going to ask Steve if it is possible to make a 'bolt on' routine which can easily be added to any EA to stop this happening.

If you have a live account with GP, Jeremy assures me your account will not be 'adjusted' if it goes 'hyperactive'. However if you have live accounts with other brokers this may not be the case :?

The results are very promising here too..I had the issue of no trades being taken at first but the update fixed that..Since then it is doing very well running 21 pairs (excluding CHF pairs) and both strats on the same account...I much prefer it to the original version as everything you need to see is right in front of you on the dash..its a great piece ..thanks again for all your work...Will keep you updated with a link once I get another few weeks in :)

Hey Gringoh,

I really appreciate your hard work here with all your tools you developed... it's all very helpfull for the traders and the coders. I thought my code was written in a clear and easy to understand way.... until I saw your code :D

I'm still trying to figure out how to make the Dashboard and the MPTM work. I wasn't familiar with the MPTM so I have to understand this tool first.

One question... why you decided not to send pending orders and only send market orders when the trade is triggered? Just because is easier to code?

Hi basch312,

First, welcome in this thread.

- MPTM (initial version) is an EA developed by Steve, and which is managing opened trades.
- The custom version I have modified here is managing trades as the initial version, but is also opening trades.

Initially I have developed this dashboard with other strategies (Secret Bob, HGI…) which were/are using market orders. And then I added the option to send multiple pending trades (like HGI).

To answer your question, when I have developed this Pipcruiser version of the dashboard I have used the standard structure of my dashboard. I did it the easiest way and it is working fine. And the good thing of doing it this way, is that the function to send multiple pending trades is already available.

Using market orders for the first trades to be triggered do not change how PP is working.

Edit: in order to test the dashboard a good start is to read post 2 where I shared templates with settings (first test like PP with only 1 trade triggered and second test with multiple pending trades), and then of course read post 1.

I am preparing additional settings that I will share later today.

Hi,
I am a little confused still as to which ea actually opens the trades
is it ! - i-Trade-EA-MPTM-Pen ?
or does the dashboard open the trades, or just gives you an overview of the trade statuses?
you just mentioned that mptm opens trades now, just the pendings it opens? or ?

Sorry, I rarely have a problem testing setups, but this one has me thrown for a loop for some reason lol

The dashboard indicator is sending signals to MPTM Pen EA which is opening trades (market or/and pending orders).

More details are available in the shell guide in post 1.
