At the moment it seems that this EA makes too many waves .... if my step is 40 and price goes backward then it make new (unnecessary) order pair 30 pips away from previous.

I need look that EA a little closer and I find solution ... if it is there :)

sorry ... it may be my mistake .... EA is very sensitive with parameters .... I had there not precisely right numbers

i would put a global closure option...and consider to open the trades at round numbers...x.00 and maybe x.50

The weakness of this ea is if the price only hit the one side of the grid's tp and reversed, left another side still opening and broke the hedge. If price didn't get back, it will cause huge dd.

this is not so big problem if price hit only one line .... it is a little problem .... problem is that there may be just too many orders inside ..... I tried use treiling systems but EA dont accepted that. Treiling may helpe here because it dont let collect too many orders inside ...... uhhhhh .... I have soo strong headache already :(

Hi to everyone .... I was away .... but now I am back again ... so I dont had enough time to focus about NASY yet but I thought out something and I test it at the moment .... not bad so far .... it earns. This is not dead topic ... at least not jet ... :)
So lets talk what happened here ... If I get NASY then I start test it ... it worked well until it blowed ... what ever settings I used IT BLOWED ALWAYS ..... but it should be so ... if thee is earning possibilities then there is ALWAYS RISK. The question is how much you can earn before acc goes down. I think that I found some idea. I dont use original settings (but they should work also). I use step 10, TP 10 SL 0 and break even profit 10. Lot size depends how big your acc is .... so those are my settings at the moment ... as you see there is no SL ... yes that is right.

If you test that EA with standard settings then it grows also ....profit depands how big is your lot size and so on..... you cant use big lot size and big steps .... they all is connected with your acc.

Central of gravity is that you must took all orders out sometimes. You just restart your EA and start over. When to do that??? My idea is follow: I use my settings what were - step 10, TP 10 SL 0 and break even profit 10. This mean that EA makes orders after 20 pips .... yes after 20 pips .... not after 10 as I but my parameters ... this REAL is connected with step and break even profit ... I have 10 and 10 ... so result is that my REAL step is 20. I wanted little steps and quite big profits and no SL ... in that case is my earnings soon 100 % ..... this is main coal to earn 100% .... until so far there is risk. I use two diferent EA ... NASY and one manager EA .... this manages EA closes ALL trades if my total loss is 50%. So I think that now you get my idea :D ...... so simple it was ...... my money grows ... minus grows ..... and there is always 50% SL. So if I earn my 100% then I restart whole system and I have my profit.

I make one example what happened yesterday: I started trading with 78 dollars .... my settings were as I told ... and my lot size were 0.05 .... yes this is insane but I just wanted test what happened. 0.05 mean that I can earn quickly. So starting money were 78 .... at the moment I have 160 AND my minus is 55. SO if I close at the moment then I have 105 dollars and this mean that my profit is 27 dollars. But I dont do that .... do yu remember my 50% SL .... if I lose 50% then I have nothing to lose and I have even 2 dollars profit. If I close orders at the moment then I have 105 dollars and I risk to lose 52 dollars .... so that is not good .... So ... for now I am out from that dead zone and from this moment my profit can ONLY grows until it lost his 50% ....

that was my point ..... to ZERO system in right time.

I get that idea from nanningbob ..... he said "dont hedge your system ....." ...... I always wanted control my SL and TP .... but market is wierd ... so ... now I control only my 50% .... this is more easyer :)

And of course many thanks for Steve who made very fast moving EA ... this is incredible .... thanks

I hope that this thread is not dead and at least someone find something from here. Only what we should find is right combination between money, lot size, TP and loss percentage.

Would it be possible to add TP based on equity? You could set $ amount to close and the same for stop loss. Then we could backtest.

If I get you right then it is not possible and worth to add TP based on equity. This system makes buy and sell orders .... there are always balance between buys and sells ..... balance is ruined when market start change his direction. So basically your profit is almost always negative (if there is not much orders then your profit may be 0 or 1-2 dollar profit side). I tried use trailings and some TP as well ... I used for that another EA .... but this dont work .... imagine ...

.... step is 20 ... market mo ver uo 100 pips .... then you have there 6 buy and sell order(0; 20; 40; 60; 80 and 100) .... if you took out lets say two buy orders (what have made 0 and 20) ... then yes ... you have nice profit BUT .... there were two sells also .... you win when market goes down .. but if it is rising again then you are dead soon .... because of that there should be balance as long as possible .....

most worst scenario is when market moves 2 steps up 1 step down 2 up, 1 down, 2 up 1 down and so on .... then you have there all the time negative balance ....

I am still sure that if you took out all orders in right time then you win. At this moment EUR USD moving perfectly .... up and down .... one acc took out 50% loss yesterday ... see my previous post .... I started with 80 ... I had 160 and then my acc blowed and I lost 80 ... so I was in the beginning .... BUT my lots were 0.05 .... this is tooooo much ..... I think that 100 dollars and lot 0.02 should be good enough ..... but yes 0.05 took nice profit .... But I dont lost either ...

another settings what I use is follow: started money 160, lot 0.08, step 10, TP 20, SL 10 (basicaly If I get you right then it is not possible and worth to add TP based on equity. This system makes buy and sell orders .... there are always balance between buys and sells ..... balance is ruined when market start change his direction. I am still sure that if you took out all orders in right time then you win ... the question is ... WHEN IS RIGHT tIME ... at the moment I try that 50% loss limit .... maybe it is not right one .... maybe PERFECT solution is that if you have there some profit THEN took all out and start over .... that 50% loss may be only your backup when you dont sitting behind computer ..... yeeesss ... maybe thats it ... :) .... I let you know how I am doing ... one acc is nice condition at the moment
