Had this sometimes ago too, restarted the platform - this mostake disappeared ...

ANOTHER question: I dont have any pendings ? :uff: :?
OR - more exactly I must say, that I have on one platform 4 pendings, but the others started at the same time dont have any pendings - very confused now ... :?
Strange result bcz all the former weeks I worked on the same platforms without any deviations ...

How are you guys ?
(As I remember Gertje reported 14 pendings, Steve 7 ... and roost zero ?)

I have 3 questions and I would appreciate any help on them. For me to truly understand what's going on with PP I need someone to break it down please.

1. What does UseTradingCandle do when it set to false?

EDIT: UseTradingCandle is on by default, so this is what is telling the bot to use the hilo of the previous candle. So my question is if I set this to false how does it affect the entries.

UPDATE: When set to false is just takes the current bid/ask price.


2. Why does this bot need a window for trading times over 24 hour trading?

Is this to prevent multiple entries for the same pair at the same time? and/or CPU process% saver?



3. I couldn't get RISK based trading to work in the strategy tester?

I set it to 5% with Lots set to 0.01 (unsure if that's needed to be set or not) and it still uses 0.01 for all. Can someone enlighten me please as to what I'm doing wrong here.

UPDATE: This now works correctly, god knows what I was doing before.

Not sure what your on about AnotherBrian. :)

Just realise this has nothing to do stop loss but just regular stop orders i.e. buystop, sellstop.

•UseTradingCandle: tells PP to use the previous candle hilo to calculate the stop order price

So I take it this is something to do with the entry, instead of using 20 pips above/low high/low, this tries to use another method. That's my guess.

Woops, I saw trailing and not trading. my bad. I also wonder?? :?:
This isn't complicated as I think it is and might be a redundant setting, PP's logic is to set entries using the previous hi-lo of the D1 candle. UseTradingCandle when set to true, does just that. (it's set to true by default).

Gosh ! You are right, I restarted the platform (GP broker) and the pendings appeared immediately ! And yes - the error 130 appeared as well ...

In the main thread there has been a discussion on time setting using local or broker time. I know for earlier to mid versions the local time setting worked fine. But is it true the later/st versions we use the broker time opening of new D1 candle?

Can someone kindly explain the use of AddBEP=true/false? What will be its effect if set to true (or false)?
