Yes i commented out that function. My offline chart is made up of five currencies, do i have to put in code for the ea to order each one or should this ea be able to handle this. I have gotten and order send error 4106 unknown symbol error. I use FXCM so no added prefixes to the currency pairs.

for using the EA on more than one currency pair you will have to do adaptions in the code just take a look in this EA based on Steve's shell.. http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... =87&t=4294

Obviously you do. I am amazed you even need to ask the question.

I would have thought that if you are coding a multi-currency ea that it is blindingly obvious that you need to code for each one. It is relatively easy to do, and Tommaso pointed you to the code that makes it possible. Well, it is relatively easy to do once you have worked out how; until then it is a nightmare.

It strikes me that you are trying to run before you have learned to stagger out of bed and stand upright. My solemn advice to you is this: learn to code single pair EA's, then expand out from there. Granted, this is not what I did, but I was happy to spend thousands of hours hacking away at code until I learned how thingies worked. And most of what I coded was bollocks.

And just so you know: coding multi-pair ea's is a frigging nightmare.

And you appear to want to add offline charts into the mix?

Save up a lot of money and have a highly paid therapist on hand. You are going to need one.

Seriously willmalou. Stop now. You are only going to drive yourself nuts. Start small and work outwards. How about starting with HGI instead of driving yourself into an early grave with what you are trying to do now?
