 Put this on a clean account. Only thing changed from defaults is the stochastic 5 3 3 . EA will manage its own stops and take profits. RiskReward still at 3. No BE. This will be an infrequent trader. I put this on the 30 min and 60 minute of 5 major pairs. EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, GBPJPY and EURJPY . This is not very diverse but I doubt that this will be a problem. Higher time period look like they would trade even less. I am looking at this for the setting of 30-50-100 MA's too.  |

This is trading a little more than I thought it would. Reducing the k setting to 5 helps this. Opened two trades. One on GPBJPY and USDJPY. Up 46 pips combined. One 15 $ loss on EURUSD. I am setting up a 2nd Demo to trade frequently. Moving the long ma to 100. Than I am opitmizing for k , short ma, and medium ma. Should trade a lot this way but will not be a deep pull back. This setup is to keep me from getting bored and have more fun watching it trade Well while I was writing this it opened up two trades. One on GBPUSD and one on EURUSD and both on 60 minute time frame. So considering the time of day here in the eastern US time zone it will be interesting if these turn profitable. So two have opened on the 30 minute and two on the 60 minute all on different pairs.  |

I am very happy the way this has been trading the 30 minute time frame. I have removed the 60 minute time frame. I will just leave on the 30 minute time frame. If it continues to trade like it has been, one time frame is enough. I have had no winners on the 60 minute anyway. If I were to add the wins from the old account to today I would be ahead. That was 181 dollars on the old account. So far this EA has been fun. The EA just closed out by itself a 53 dollar win on EURJPY. It has two more positive trades of about 80 dollars combined so far. Will see if it will get these closed out too. There has been some losses to day. So I am thinking about restricting trading hours some. Although it has been doing well with the Asian hours. Just an edit... The GBPJPY position did not have a stop and tp set by the EA so I closed this out at 50 dollars. I will have to look at this. The USDJPY position does though but it is unlikely to get to it. I have decided to manage this EA just like I would a live account and close the USDJPY out at recent support. |

I have this running on demo - opened a number of positions with TP and SL - best still running short USDJPY with 70 pips. Today ea opened short position on AUDUSD but no TP or SL - no modify order in the log. Any idea why? |

Most likely is that the previous fractal was not found, so the stop was zero. The tp is based on the stop and so was also zero. I have added some code that should prevent this happening, unless I have miscoded. I have added a new input, MinStopLoss. This makes the EA search for a fractal that is at least this distance from the market. If one is not found and the stop = 0 as a result, then this input is used to create a minimum stop loss, and so a tp. This should add tp/sl to your existing open trade, so try it out and see. Update in post 1. |

Well I had 4 small losses over the night. Two on EURNZD and two on AUDUSD. So I updated the EA and turned off the swap filters for now. I want to see if it will trade both ways on these pairs. So far JPY pairs are doing wonderful. Not so good yet for other pairs. I will take a look at the stochastic settings on the these pairs. Might be a tad too sensitive at k 5 for these pairs. |

Still like the way this ea is trading but has opened and closed trades immediately for loss of the spread on a number of pairs. Any ideas why? Long term think I will use some form of TS to manage trades - not sure which: thinking candlestick set on D1 TF and 1 candle. |
