Just saw that! :o
There's a way round it by funding a bank account in your country as a non profit but thats a lot more admin, time and paperwork that would take away from your trading.

Post subject:  How does a PAMM work?

.
Clarifications:

1: Investor accounts in a PAMM setup are able to view all the info about the trades being made by the fund manager ( i.e. read-only )

2: Withdrawals before term period are allowed but incur a penalty ( going rate is usually 3% )

Cheers

Hi peeps,

Been doing quite a bit of research in the background regarding options that can work for esp the US and EU folks

Shortlist became:
1) Tallinex
2) FX Choice
3) Trader's Way

I polled a few of you concerning the changes vis-a-vis HotForex terms [ e.g. higher minimum deposit ( going rate seems to be USD 1,000 ) ] and those polled were OK with the changes

[ PS: said brokers, because of their 'cowboy' nature (accepting US residents, etc) tend to charge more in terms of spread &/or commissions per trade; an acceptable trade-off, I guess ]

All factors considered, Tallinex seems to be the option to go for.

I have already submitted my fund manager application. Awaiting confirmation of approval then feedback to you guys

Thanks!, and nice weekend

I can say that as a US resident, I have deposited/traded and withdrew money from Tallinex with no issues.
Just FYI.

Perfect! A question, "trading period 1 month " is the minimum period or after a month you stop that service?
Why the choose to change the seccess fee from 15 to 20? In any case I'm in! :good:

Hi Marco!

Trading period of 1 month is the cycle; that is: performance will be evaluated monthly

I initially wanted a performance fee of 20% with HotForex but that option was not possible, 15% was the only option available
Tallinex doesn't have the restriction, hence have reverted to original choice of 20 :)

I appreciate having you in!, cheers :hi:

How do we see the performance? Do you have an average monthly return % or anything to give us an idea?

dudest,

Just to confirm Hotforex is still on right?

Also, you've been trading CJ's method for quite some time now... do you mind telling what kind of drawdown you have been dealing with?

I ask because I see people trading very aggressively and always wondered what kind of drawdown one face while trading this method?

I wish you the best of luck.

Cheers.
