Watching with interest.

You mention a basket trade manager. Is that an EA from this site or elsewhere?

Thanks
Pakeha I use the manager from this site..
Try MPBM from Steve.

Only value set is "RewardPertentageTakeProfit", all the rest set to "0".

What also works for me is trading H4 cross overs start of middle of Sydney session until start of NY session. For a balance of 3000, I trade 0.06 lots then Basket Cash TP at around 45 using APBM, BE at 10 cash when Cash Profit reaches 20, Jumpstop at 10 cash. :good:
I do not wait for candle close though, I just enter once I get the alert on my Empty4 app in my mobile phone.

BAM!!

1.5% TP hit, 2 candles traded. Max DD 77.4 pips...... :shock:

This way of trading MUST be good, as it is boring as hell.....
:jump:
Gertje do you enter at every cross from 8:00 UK? And if there isn't a cross you simply enter in the direction of the CSS? After you open one new trade every hour in direction of the CSS?
I miss how do you calculate you risk/lot size?
Thanks,
Marco.

Hi Marco,

I enter all pairs in the direction of the css.
Last week I have started at GP's 9:00 candle, 10:00 candle and even 12:00 candle.
Sometimes I miss a candle and enter asap. Generally I try to enter every hour.....

Lotsizing; 1%@2xADR.
I knocked up spreadsheet with ADR 40, 50, 60, etc till 300. In the next column I calculate lotsizes, assuming that 100pips is 1% with 0.01/$1.000 accountsize.
for example;
ADR = 100
Lotsize for $10k account = 0.05

ADR = 50
Lotsize for $10k account = 0.10

The idea here is that every pair has the same weight with respect for volatility between pairs.

OK. Just so I am 100% clear.

Does that mean you are trading all your pairs in the direction of the CSS. Based on the calculated lot size you add to those positions every hour (or thereabouts), still in the direction of the CSS, until your basket TP/SL is hit or some other reason for you to exit.

Yes.
It's very simple;
1st candle I look for ATR to determine lotsize, look at previous bar CSS, red = sell, green = buy.
2nd candle I look at open lotsize on the pair and use this, look at previous bar CSS, red = sell, green = buy.
3th candle, repeat
4th candle, repeat
Etc, till MPBM closes the lot for 1,5% profit.

Then the hard part comes, sit on my hands till the next morning..... :arrrg:
.

No problem.

I start 8:00 or 10:00 local time, that is 7:00 or 9:00 London time (GlobalPrime's 9:00 or 11:00 candle's)

I think. :smile:

Gertje can you please upload the spreadsheet?
Can I ask which was the maximum exposition reached in this days?
Thanks,
