I think Peaky Fifo is working correctly, but I haven't gotten more than one live and one pending trade so far on any one pair. I'm running a 5 minute tf demo on about 15 pairs, one account for long, one account for short. The long account is an Oanda demo that has 1 million dollars, so it is trading 10 lots per trade. It closed one trade for a $3,200 profit, and has two trades open up $2,500 total. Maybe we could get someone to give us a few days access to a real million dollar account and let Peaky run wild... Anyway, Peaky Fifo will fit the bill for Forex.com and other US brokers that force all trades to observe FIFO even if they are a different lot size, so I'll keep trying it. Thanks! |

I think I'm the only one here. Gary, this is looking good. Peaky FIFO closed a set of three EURNZD trades together with no problems or errors. In my million dollar demo account, I set number of trades for a basket to three with a Basket TP of $5,000. Not very much, really on a million dollar account. Well, it closed the three trades for about a $6,500 profit, but that probably makes sense since EURNZD was popping upward pretty quickly at the time. On the open trades, if there are more than one, they all have have the same TP, so that looks good. The only thing I'm seeing funny so far is that TP is set to 30 pips, but the TP that shows up on the all trades is for 40 pips beyond the first trade, or just 40 pips if there is just one trade. This is where Steve usually points out that I couldn't bother to read the manual, except in more colorful language than I'm using. Unless you have any pending changes, I think I'll move Peaky Fifo into my Forex.com live account, which is running a number of pairs on the 1 hour timeframe. I'm running separate buy and sell accounts there, but those accounts are too small to entertain any sort of Peaky on Steroids, so this should work great! BTW, the buy account is up $11,300 in closed trades, with a $7,000 draw down on two open trades. On the other hand, the sell account, which is running on a $5,000 demo on Oanda, has about 150 pips in closed trades, but is running about 1100 pips in drawdown on the 5 Minute demo on about 15 pairs. Imagine how that would look on the million dollar account! Thanks for your hard work! Maybe we'll eventually find some more U.S. traders out there! Steve |

cozy, Not sure why the TP is different, will check it out. My guess is the Fifo code I added is the culprit.

Hi Gary, First I would like to thank for your work. Two items: One: I'm testing Peaky Fifo on two Oanda accounts (one for long trades, one for sell trades)in a 5 minute TF. So far, everything looks like it is working well, but on the Oanda sell account, it started with $5,000 and is set up to trade .01 per $1,000. On 18 pairs it took Peaky Fifo only a few days to run out of available money to place new trades. Margins of 33:1 and 50:1 depending on the pair puts a definite limit on how many pairs you can trade at one time, unless you trade more conservatively (like .01 per 3,000 or 5,000 if your account is big enough). Two: I tried setting up Peaky Fifo on my live Forex.com accounts (most of my live money is in Oanda accounts, but these are leftover from my ATC Brokers days). These accounts have some manual Peaky trades running, plus a few leftover trades from previous trading strategies, a few of which are 200-300 pips away from the current price. I am actually using a 4-Hour timeframe, but with only 360 periods, which covers about six weeks of candles, and is equivalent to a 1-hour TF with 1,440 periods. I'm allowing Peaky to send stop orders on adverse market conditions, although I have MarketDistancePips set to 160. For the most part, everything went without a hitch, and where appropriate, Peaky Fifo sent fill-in stop orders. On a few pairs, however, when Peaky Fifo tried to send the fill-in stop orders, I received the error: OP_SELLSTOP Order Send Failed with error(4109) trade is not allowed in expert properties. Well, clearly the platform is allowing trading because a whole bunch of other stop orders were sent out with no errors. I'm also using the exact same saved template on the pairs that had errors and the pairs that didn't have errors. One of them was EURUSD, and I set up my own stop order last night, then started Peaky Fifo against this morning and it is working just fine on it right now, even correctly sending out one more stop order. No idea if it is a quirk to Forex.com or something to do with how far away the original order was, but I thought I'd send it along just in case anyone else encounters it. I also had this issue with the regular Peaky EA on the live Forex.com accounts, and unless I see evidence otherwise, I'm assuming it's something particular to them. I've had Peaky and now Peaky Fifo live on just a few pairs in a separate Oanda account for over a week, and that has run without errors, both opening and closing trades. Cheers! |

cozy, Did you have a rogue trade warning with that? I woke up to several of them, so I changed an input and everything seems fine. Safety Features: PostTradeAttemptWaitSeconds=600 MinMinutesBetweenTradeOpenClose=0 MinMinutesBetweenTrades=1 Sorry, not sure about your error. Try Forex.com support, they might be able help. A google search produced nothing helpful. Gary |

HI Gary, I didn't get the rogue trade warning then, but apparently I did have a couple sitting on charts that I didn't realize. I set both the minminutesbetweentradeopenclose and the minminutesbetweentrades both to zero. That seemed to work, but I'll try your settings instead and see if that takes care of it. Thanks, Steve P.S. - I'm not holding out much hope for Forex.com. I've been down this road with them previously on a totally different problem, and all errors are the problem of the individual EA as far as they are concerned. I'm feeling old. My ATC BRokers accounts went over to FXCM, then over to Forex.com when FXCM got kicked out of the U.S. Meanwhile, my original forex accounts, which were with MB Trading, which did all the FIFO in the backoffice, went off to TradeKing, now over to Ally Invest (whoever the heck they are Thanks again! On a good note, my tiny Oanda Live account with just four pairs in the 15 minute timeframe, which started with Peaky has been running Peaky Fifo flawlessly, and is solidly in the black besides. |

Just a heads up letting you know that there is another (very appreciative) US based trader watching your efforts from the sidelines. I have thrown your work on a demo account and just letting it run. M15 TF on about 15 different pairs. I have not yet done the homework to change any of the default setting so it is running "straight out of the box" so to speak. If you have an alternative template or any suggestions on alternative settings, I am happy to adjust and monitor. Have noticed the rogue error alert flashing on several charts. |
