Well thank you. Do you have results for a longer period of time? Approximately with this setting. I'm starting to test both the Erebus and Madness settings. An apology for bad English. Perhaps it will be better to move to the inner mail so I do not spoil the clarity of the discussion thread. |

Hi RisingSun , a) When setting your TP @ 2.5% ..do you keep your SL @ 10% ?? So at +/- 4 mondays a Month ..you would have a 2.5% LOSS each month if ONE loss THREE wins , no ? b) Did you demo tested few months your approach to feel safe about applying this to a Live account ? c) Ccfp Indi : TF, FF,FT, or TT ? Hi sdek4x, I set SL at 2x of TP. Yes, I know most believes SL should be 0.5x of TP. Still new to the CCFp method. This real account trade on Monday only is my forward test. My CCFp indi is attached. The very early time one used in the relevant FF thread. Due to the enormous number of posts of the thread, I haven't been able to understand "TF, FF,FT, or TT". Maybe you would volunteer to explain what the definitions are? Cheers, RS |

What I am amazed with, is that you go live with an Indi that you do not even know how to setup or does not have really clear what is it actually showing/indicates to you.But again it is ok, it is a good indicator which does not repaint on high TF ( = Time Frame) MN,Wk,D1 are ok. CCfp basicly indicates you the ACTUAL levels of strength / weakness of currency pairs on a specific timeframe. TF,FF,FT,or TT refers to the settings/inputs that you the trader are wanting to trade. And these letters T or F refers to (T)RUE or (F)ALSE . So, first a picture ...here : Where you can see waht I am referering about. A ) Define Time Frame you would like the Indi to look at B) Define current (T) or Previous Bar - not current ( F) Define actual Bar (T) or MA-moving average ( F) to determine direction C) Trade Level : in a scale of 1 to 10 ...if set to 2 , indicator will only display pairs which have a strength or a weakness of 2 ( +2/-2) and above ...ex.GBP+5/JPY-2 will be displayed and EUR+6/USD-1 will not ... I can also explain you later ..what is current or previous bar ..lol. Anyway it is my wish that you can prove success with your strategy and I am subscribed. Personally I am demo trading CCfp with reverse settings on monday/wednesday on D1 time frame and till I figure out if this is the way to produce consistent/safe results for at least 3 months before going live. When I am sure that I found them ( settings) I will share here ....for sure. |

Many thanks, sdek4x! I am using the setting of the very first part of the thread. The CCFp indi I posted is also called as "original". And I go by weekly. Thus, A = 10080, B = FF, and C = 2. I feel like a bit more professional after knowing about the TT, TF, etc.  Today, I set C=3 due the number of pairs suggested by C=2 was a bit too many. Currently, after 3 hours, the profit is hovering around minus, as expected after strong moves last week, suggesting a reversal of last week's trend, represented by CCFp 10080. I set the MPTM basket TP and SL @ 2.5% and 5.0% of balance. Will revert when trading completes. RS |
