Hi Shelley,

I wondered where you had gone.

I'm in Oz atm on holiday (we're from the UK) and down in Cronulla, our daughter has just had her first baby and our first grandchild.

I remember you telling me that you were from Cronulla and named Shelley after Shelley beach, I was there yesterday and thinking of you. It is a a beautiful spot.

Wow Eamonn, you have an awesome memory! Yes Cronulla is a beautiful place and the beaches are fantastic. There's no place quite like 'The Shire' in Sydney to live.

Steve, you are an absolute gem! I've had a really shit morning with my health and I read your post and it makes me feel a 1000 times better. I am proud to be one of the original members of this forum when you made the decision to leave FF and you have helped me to become a so much better trader than I was. A few blown account helps in the school of hard knocks as well

As I mentioned in a previous post, it was at least 2 years where I didn't even open my Live trading platform and when I did it was still there, in the red yes, because I hadn't been able to close trades when I should have, but infinitely salvageable. That is one of the main thing us old timers have learnt, trade within your means, trade so you can sleep at night and trade so you can trade another day.

I am humbled by everything you have done for me and your kind words above and even when I'm not here in the forum I think of you every Monday morning when your email comes through like clockwork and when I sit down to trade.

I've still got a long way to go health wise but I will try and pop in occasionally and say hello. Unfortunately at the moment my cognition is not able to grasp a lot of the complexities discussed here just yet, but I'm hoping in time I will be able to contribute as much as I used to.

Hi Leon,

Thank you for your very kind words, although I think you are being too kind.
All of my strategies were designed to be simple and so far this one has (to date) conquered the steps of time. I am trading it monthly/weekly time frames, rather than weekly/daily which allows me to be away from my computer for long periods if necessary, although I do have the Empty4 platform set up on my phone so I can keep an eye on it now that I’m able to focus a little better.

I am glad and humbled that you have found some value in my trading.
