You are most welcome Leon. All I can do is keep throwing the EA's out there. I rely on the likes of you to keep on testing them. One day, the likes of you and the likes of me will arrive at the killer EA. Useless freeloaders, wouldn't care to do some intelligent testing and so offer up some results would you? You know whom you are. |

Hi Steve, I must tell you that you deserve everything of the best with years of unselfish work. If ever there is anything great, you should be the first one to know. Sorry for the sentiments but I just had to say it. Cheers Leon |

Ok Guys, Just to spark some interest in Steve's latest creation. Here is something I am working on. Quite frankly using candle power on anything below the daily time frame carries risks in my opinion. Firstly you'll have too many trades open at once seeing that it is a multi pair trader Ea and more so the unpredictability of candle direction on smaller timeframes. I am using the daily time frame and trying to catch the breakout of the previous days high/low. The set up I have is breakeven of 2 pips after 15 pips profit and a jumpstop of 25 pips. The hope here is that it will continue in the direction of the breakout. This is one method. Another way to do this is to take proft of 10 or 15 pips. Quick in and out. Stoplosses yes or no?. For now I have no stoploss and will let Off setting take care of trades turning in the wrong direction. It could be of some use to have a stoploss of 10 to 25 pips. Getting out and moving on. My ambition here is to keep my drawdown below 3%. I have not activated any of the other filters like Superslope, Hgi and Moving average. This could be a worthy area to pursue. Take note. If you load the Ea today you will only get trades tomorrow because the Ea is waiting for todays high and low. You only need to load the Ea on one chart like XAUUSD for example and the Ea will do all the work. No other charts needed. Set to be attached to the latest Hgb multipair candle power Ea. Ps. I open my platform 2 to 3 hrs before London open. No need to be awake at the changeover for the new day. My results so far this week. I did try the partial close function in the breakeven settings for a bit therefore you will see the "from and ticket number" on the trade report. A worthy area to pursue when it comes to scaling out. Questions and ideas are welcome. I am also looking to test the weekly time frame some time in the future, a worthy area to look at. Cheers Leon |

G'day Leon Bravo! I have been thinking about this for a while now, but I have been using M30 charts on CP, with 2 pip jumping stop, a Hedged Basket of 15 pips, Breakeven is set to 15 pips, and BreakEvenProfit set to 2 pips... I have been having a little success just trading the London open and close times. So it will be interesting to see how CPMPC goes on the Daily using this similar setup! I stopped using CPMPC because it was getting out of hand on the M5, but will try your set to see how it goes, as I do like trading the Daily. No news to worry about! The only thing I will try is the HGI Directional Trade Filters as 'true', and the filter TF =W1, same with the SS TF =W1. Time will tell! Also I think I will use a 50/50 mix of cross pairs, such as; Eg. AJ, AU, CJ, EG, EU, GJ, GU,NU, UC, Uchf and UJ... Will post my findings on this blended mix. Thanks again Leon for your tests, it is always appreciated. Cheers Tony |

The EA works well for the most part, with some tweaks I've made some $400 in the last 2 days. there has been some manual intervention on the account that the trailing stops are getting messed about with Error 130's. I believe this has to do with pending orders being too close to the stop loss? apologies if this has been asked before or covered elsewhere but is there a way around this? |

Thanks to Steve for this new toy, this EA a great idea. Hi Leon, great to see your contributions again after revisit SHF again. I'm going to overseas very soon, would not have a PC to test for 24/5. Hope you are okay with my comments :- It would be unlikely to have off setting for wrong direction trades if your settings have BE and JS, e.g. if there is a long trade after breaking previous candle's top but the market falls, and breaks the previous candle's low and a short trade is placed, but due to BE / JS, the short trade may be closed earlier and the trend carries on with bear run, offsetting will not work in this case, therefore the long trade will be openly unattended at a big DD. The only way is not to set BE / JS and use MTPM to basket close for all trades when overall target is met. This would be an advisable setting to have SL, but may have multiple SL closed trades at the expense of the account. High DD will face if the market is moving up and down for the whole day. With SL of 10 to 25 pips will be working to certain pairs but not suitable for strong pairs such as GA, GC, GJ, GN etc. In other words, the small SL setting will easily be triggered by strong pairs. To solve this issue, the traders may need to run a few charts with different magic number for different grouping of strong and less strong pairs. Thanks, BT |
