Shouldn't be; once a signal is generated, the order should be executed irrespective of what either of the moving aveages subsequently do.

I forgot to tell the bot to keep on trying to fill virtual pending trades outside of trading hours. I have added a temporary fix; update in post 1.

The code needs tidying up, so I shall do this later. In the meantime, this should work. If that pending line is still on your chart and the market is still above it, the bot should take the trade immediately.

It is only after very rigorous testing a strategy can grow from an idea to being good enough for the real world; and I am greatful to you for facilitating this.

The purpose of putting (my version of) LUXOR here is to place it for scientific assessment, and critical peer review.

It is only once it withstands the test can one be satisfied that it is worthy of serious consideration.

LUXOR goes on real trial – OANDA Empty4 -- when trading for the week starts in a few hours:

AUDUSD, EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDCAD, USDCHF, and USDJPY H1 charts.

Khalid, I consider myself basically a trend trader which has been the core of my systems for years. Not all currencies are good for crossover/break out systems. For the Luxor I suggest EurUsd, AudUsd, Nzd Usd, Audjpy, Nzd Jpy, EurAud and Gpd Aud, inorder of suitability. UsdCad, GbpUsd and Usd Jpy are not the trend traders pairs for consistent trends.

This time folks, I have excelled myself.

If I stumbled upon an Idiotocracy, within seconds the current Chief Cretin would stand aside and warmly applaud as he resigned the position to me.

I would not have to apply for the position of Village Idiot. I would be head-hunted by a crack team of Village Idiot recruiters and paid a handsome salary.

Having made the 'pending' trade dependant on Stealth, I then forgot to add the code to tell Luxor to look for opportunities to 'fill' the trade. What a classic. Poor Khalid has had the bot running on umpteen computers and platforms and pairs for days without a sniff of a trade.

No wonder.

Any trades sent by the previous version occurred when the new candle opened above/below the hilo of the trigger candle. This doe not happen often, but I had coded for that.

BufferPips is now BufferPoints. Khalid wants a buffer of 0.00001 - which is great until you get to the jpy pairs or are still with a 4 digit broker. As I regard the extra point as irrelevant, I have made it a double that you have to set explicitly to the correct value, and defaulted it to 0.
