MAPC

Hey Ben and Richard,

thank you very much for your feedback. I'm really happy to drag the attention of the veterans here!

There's this saying "Two is company, three is a crowd" and with this, I would like to start a forward test run on FXTestify:

To all folks on SHF: Hereby, I invite you all to join our forward test on MAPC.

DESK-MAPC.zip

ExpertNameFor TestDatabase: MAPC

I just started three setups today which will be visible in 2 weeks from now on FXTestify:

- This setup with a hard lot size of 0.01
- One setup with 0.01 lots per 500 balance
- One setup with 0.01 lots per 400 balance

In terms of being efficient on ressources, I have reduced the setup to the UBDs that are really needed. Furthermore, I have set up Desky with the according group and expert name for FXTestify AND I reduced the grid trading to 3 plus an immediate trade. This should lower the drawdown naturally in cases of a larger counter trend.

Feel free to change anything you want in Desky's Inputs.

BUT PLEASE: Leave the UBDs and TDesk settings unchanged - trading pairs excluded. :youknow:

For my demos, I use the crim ICMarkets which provides 33 trading pairs with considerable spreads. I clearly don't recommend ICM here but I see it as an advantage to have 33 possibilities which gives us more data in the same time.

Aaaand: If a setup works with one of the dirty players then it should do really fine with the good ones like GP

Maybe a a more conservative ratio of lot size per balance could be favourable in making this setup more progressive... Thinking of 0.01 lots per 500 in balance : Anyways, what is your Group Name and Setup Name for FXTestify. Your MAPC is a masterpiece in how to use TDESK and I have been running it OOB since May 19. The balance is up 23% but at the moment in a 15% draw down due to the aggressive setting. I'm confident it will recover but will start another test with lower lot size. Cheers, Ben

In this case, I shut down my demo with the 0.01 lot and try something different with this Empty4 instance. I'm thinking of some kind of a hedging strategy... I use GlobalPrime so I have to remove GBPSGD and CHFSGD from the UBD and TDesk.
