ack, never feels good to return all profits when it was looking so promising, but onwards and upwards with the new modifications

Can I ask, the account that's just tanked, was that one where you were using Peaky to avoid selling at lows / buying at highs, coupled with a tight SL, that you had mentioned earlier?

Well, in one word I'd say it's a "dud". After a promising start it tanked and gave back all that was made the first 3 weeks of running in a single week. So back to the drawing board.....

My new tests are using Grab over multi timeframes as well as SS, HGI and the cross of the M5 34LMA. I ran it on two accounts (2 days last week) with slightly different settings and was pleased with the outcome, but as always, time will tell how successful it turns out to be.

(On a positive note, the Micro account set that I shared on the setup exchange has made 3733 pips this last month. The GBPJPY grid finally hit TP, but I'm still stuck with DD with the USDCHF grid.)

I most definitely can, just wondering what balance you were taking into consideration with $90 so I can make an appropriate conversion. BTW your system has some impressive results, kudos for thinking of it and sharing. Thank you for all your help.

Hi r1ch4rd, I have set up another testing account of Sharky with some changes in the Veto signals and I´m looking forward to seeing the results! One question: did your XM micro account get wiped out or is it still chugging along? I remember it still had great figures last month. Cheers, Franck

Thanks Opita, no problem. The basket close is 90 pips, not $. I have been running it 50 pips and 70 pips with success and left pips on the table so I have widened the basket TP to 90 to see how we get on. How has your account preformed this week with Sharky? Hi Franck Yes my micro account is still going, but I have had to add funds to cover some extreme DD due to buying both GBPNZD & USDCHF at the top a few week ago . I continue to add stop orders behind the price waiting for the retrace (I almost got it on GBPNZD last week). But it is still taking between 80 and 120 pips per day (New settings though). I am now concentrating on Sharky not buying or selling at the top/bottom of moves. I'm sure this can be achieved with Peaky, so I will be trialling it on M1 & M5 next week with quite a tight SL, and not looking for many pips from the cross of the 1SMA and 34LWMA on M1. I'm also now using Grab on M5 as a confirmation of direction, also (SS H1 & D1, HGI M5 H1). We look forward to seeing your positive results. Thanks to Richard and his trusty mechanic Steve for sharing this set up. Looks promising on my demo set up. I can't wait to see the new set up. Impressive and inspiring work guys. A general big thank you to SHF forum and its members, if I hadn't found this forum I think I probably would have thrown in the trading towel years ago.

I couldn't get that idea to work as I wanted it to do. When I set an account up with Peaky it was still firing trades off at the extremes in the wrong direction. I did try various settings on the buffer values without success so I binned that idea.

I see, that seems like a massive shame.
