Attached. Add it to your Indicators folder.

Just so you know though, that I have come to the conclusion that the moving average filter is not necessary and have abandoned it.

I started to code the manager EA today and got into a tangle with actually closing trades following an opposite direction large arrow/blue wavy signal. What passes for my brain eventually gave up. I shall try again tomorrow.

My plan is to shut down this thread and start another one featuring the software I have developed to aid HGI trading. For now, just ignore the moving average filter and follow the HGI signals.

The attached indi is one you can use under any circumstance I can think of.

Good evening Steve,

May I ask: the trading method that you describe here seems (mostly) already covered by the original HGB EA if I understand correctly? The grid functionality is there, as are all the trading signals.

I do see one difference, whereby the original HGB would close all trades on a range wavy regardless of P/L. The side effect being that range wavies appear/disappear frequently and fleetingly, leading to several small losses. With your approach here, you would appear to be waiting until in healthy profit before considering closing on a range wavy. Is that right?

Thanks,

YCK

Yes. It seems to me that yellow wavey's mark the start of a potential range. Who knows where the market will go after that? Not me, that is for sure.

I ignore the yellow range markers these days.
