It looks like you are missing data for some TF's on some pairs. The robot makes reference to the following timeframes (H1,H4,D1,W1). You need to ensure you have at least around 200 bars of history for each of these TF's for each pair. It's just a matter of opening each chart and switching to each TF in turn. Incidentally, that log suggests that you did not correctly tun on my debugging. If you have set UsePrintForLogging=true I have added a script on post 1 which will toggle the logging status of the bot. This should generally be off unless there is a problem to troubleshoot. |

Its up and running now. I used the "loadhistory-1"script I downloaded from this site earlier and that did the trick. I also set Marketwatch to show all pairs. I only had the more common open. Lets see if this chicken lays some eggs |

Hey DC, i'm not having luck with ATT, so if it's okay with you. i'm throwing in Hedging. Tight 20/200/20/20 and 30. No hedgethehedged and No trend filter choices. I might however get rid of TP when we see how this works out with JS at a later stage. I dont believe ATT should be affected by the hedge positions as i dont think the EA will calculate the hedged positions, unless you're using a global call in ATT. regards and thanks again for taking on another challenge. cuzgeorge |

Hi DC, I'm running your Scoobs forex robot in retrace mode with some consistent success. Out of the 8 eas i am trying, forex robot shows the best results so far. Do you think it would be a good idea to run this ea along with Scoobs forex robot in retrace mode? or better on a separate account? Thank you |

I like the idea of this EA but sadly this week the market reversed trend direction and I have lost pips however the EA stoploss mechanism is quite effective. It certainly looks to be work another go Getting the right pairs going may need more filters eg Pivots order alignment ( daily, weekly, monthly) or the trend direction module in Forex Robot or TMA starting hurdle It would help, to develop this faster, if you released the code as is the case with Forex Robot Thanks for the effort |

Thanks LL. This is basically a variant of FR's breakout mode with some as yet not optimised stacking. I agree it has promise but it does suffer when markets are ranging. That is to be expected. When the next trendy week develops, we will see how it stacks, then I'd like opinions on how to optimally close the positions |

IMHO a v.good trend alert system is provided as part of the Sonic trading system over at FF The 34 period MA dragon is normally very reliable on H4 and for really long trends D1 You could do a lot worse than to close a pip loaded stacked position at a point crossing above the upper dragon band (selling) or at a point crossing below the lower dragon band (buying) |
