Hi glabbeek,
i havent found a way to do this, and faced with your situation, i think i would try to adapt one of Steve's EA's that have part MPTM built-in. This should be able to be backtestable.

I do a lot of what you are mentioning especially if a EA has 'difficulties' in the TradeManagement code. This way the actual method of the EA can still be tested, even though MPTM is running on another chart.

Sorry i'm no coder, but i'm sure someone else can assist you with this in the coders section.

You are the shinning Star but Jemook is the Current Champion, we follow you guys behind and make a bit of a tiny Living just because you guys put in so much work into testing and Tweaking all the different Gizmo's aka Innovations for us all to stay one step ahead of the Criminals and big boys no matter what the Markets throw at us, folks like me would have given up trading the Forex Market ages ago but feel Inspired with the need to keep forging along since people like your good self come along and Simplify most automated processes .
Trading the markets with most of your tools just got better and to be honest I have come too far to even Consider giving up, Long Live Steve Hopwood, Baluda, Nanningbob and that my wonderful friend with the Indicator Lab who's on Par with Baluda, he's name keeps floating away from my Brain but we all know who you are.

Thanks for the kind words guys, i did'nt think the demos would be so well received and i really appreciate your posts.

As for the geniuses here at SH forum, Gary, Baluda-Paul, Neotrader, DC, Jem, NB, Big-George (gaheitman), squalou to mention a few, forgive me as i'm sure i'm forgetting someone. We salute you for the time and effort you put into this forum. Not to mention all the contributors who help to keep this site and charities alive with their contributions. Last but not-least, Fate the the king of EA's, Steve for having the fortitude to set this up and take on the bug guns.

Now that i'm done with my acceptance speach, :lol: :lol: :lol: , we'll get on with demoing.

I'm battling to get to all the demos today, work load is getting hectic with xmas season coming up, so i hope you find them usefull and we can get to a good, consistantly profitable group of set files that we can share here.
wishing you all many pips and please feel free to ask whatever you like. i'll do my best to bore the crap out of you all with my long posts. :D

This is a great idea. I think one thing missing from this forum is live tests of EA in a organized systematic way. I hope this evolves into something so that we can share set file of different EA, etc. Keep up the good work. :)

Hi Guido,
i'm getting signals but i just cant find the time to get to them. By the time i export and paste to the indi/EA from Lio, it take forever and the markets trend and a pop-up/alert comes up that needs my attention, and then work!!!!!
will get to it though and definately on my to-do list. Entropy is too important to ignore. So far i have'nt dedicated a platform to it, its on a demo together with other EA's at the moment, but will do so soon. i have the demo waiting, just want to understand everything correctly so i dont publish crap.
I'll realistically only get to it by the week end, maybe late Sunday. I got 3 toddler parties to go to and my sons are adamant i must go with them. They prefer me to their mother, :lol: :lol: :lol:

My two cents - definitely not tradeable at the moment. It seems that Craig is working server-side and the signals disappear for hours/days at a time. For example, today my last signals were at 0345 GMT.

Please don't misunderstand, there has never been any claim by Craig that Entropy is a finished product - far from it. Development is continuing and in the meantime signal interruptions are to be expected. The scope of this thing is immense; I am in for as long as it takes. ;)
