Yup, it's entirely possible this is a repainter or similar will-o-the-wisp. I just wasn't quite sure how to know, short of hand-testing it in realtime. But you volunteered the EA, soo...

Steve you are a riot. Basically there are two kinds of indis, ones that draw straight lines from left right horizontal and ones that draw lines at some kind of angle. Some indis will keep the lines fixed and some they will continue to move as info comes in. All are based on the concept that if price is coming from one direction and heading to the line, if it has enough momentum to cross the line it probably will keep going for a while. Other indis take the same information and will draw bars, color areas, etc etc. Once you understand that pick two, one that draws straight lines and one that draws angle lines and trade. This one is my favorite personal indi. I call the X indi. looks like this. Maybe you will want to code this one on a boring day.

From what I saw on screen filter out a lots of bad trades and having better outputs

Bugs will appear, I'm not a good coder it would take a few days to resolve that many here takes seconds.

Supertrend seems to be a good filter at least better than Parabolic SAR I will use it as a filter in MACD EA.

i'm starting to like this TG. I've seen his personality and i like what i see.

he takes one trade per chart. Definately no over trading.
Positions are generally open for some time, maybe a few days, but with no Sl and TP's its looking very, very good.

The account barely gets noticed because i'm sitting with a 100k demo account and playing with 0.1 lots, up from 0.01. I'm turning up the volume here and going to 1 full lot per position.

I'm on 6 major charts,all on 1HR, MPTM doing my BE and JS thingy for me and sitting with a little DD now, so what, this TG hardly loses.
Results showing on demo so far, so now with the volume up, lets see how he swanks , or drops off a plank.

anyone else still running TG? any results, opinion?

Hi all,
About a week or two ago, Steve updated his post 1 for MPTM, availabele here;

The original files are staying here for Trendy Gary and the original set file for MPTM which was available prior to the update from Steves MPTM. The updated MPTM is whats downloadable from the link above. I have checked and can confirm that there will be no difference if you are already on the new MPTM, so this set file will do exactly what it supposed to do.

The only difference i have now is that right at the end of the parameters for MPTM ,the following, i am 'false' for all 3, Should'nt make a difference at all. So please go ahead and experiment as you like with the BE and JS setting here. There is no hedging for Trendy Gary.
