Thanks Steve for your patience with this one...it's much appreciated :D

In this version, I have asked Steve to make as many inputs user configurable as possible, so test away!
I'm happy for feedback on the EA...

I have been giving a lot of thought to the trade exits (although not a lot of screen time at the moment to test properly)...this is clearly where the main improvements can be made.

Gday MkII has the ability to turn off the partial trade close, so I will also be testing a more traditional trailing/jumping stop scenario...as well I am also going to test using the candlestick trailing stop function as well.

And one more thing to throw out there for those traders much smarter than me...I have noticed there is an excellent correlation (see chart attached) between the 7,2,2 stoch trade trigger and the 5EMA high & 5 EMA low (as identified in The7 thread here http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=386701 and then turned into an EA by Steve here http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... ?f=5&t=879. I am quite happy with the trigger, but I was planning to see if the 5EMA's can help improve our exit.

When I get some more time, I will be studying my charts to see if there is a way these EMA's can help improve our exit strategy, so if anyone has any observations regarding this, please feel free to post.

Yep...it certainly does :D

I've loaded MKII onto a new demo, it looks like the EA has identified correctly all potential trade set up's for today, which is great :D
I think also the bloop Gary identified may have been causing the issue I was trying to work out...it certainly helps when you can understand the code :oops:

Naah. Gary doesn't understand code. His pet Spaniel wags his tail at correct code, and whimpers and makes 'the eyes' at bad code. Then Gary hacks away randomly at the keyboard until Spaniel wags his tail again. :lol:

I'm glad you are looking at alternate trade management strategies. I have been reading through the original Gday thread and it always seemed a bit counter-intuitive to me to have a stop loss with a full position and have the really nice winning trades go with a minimal position. I hope you find success going forward with an alternate means.

I'm going to be following the thread with great interest and hope you can come up with something really great. That's all - good luck everyone!

Setup on Alpari UK demo.
21 pairs - EA on each chart - different Magic number each
Option 1 = true Option 2=True There is no trade setup on any chart
Option 1 = true Option 2=False There is a short setup on every chart
Option 1 = false Option 2=True There is no trade setup on any chart

Any ideas?

Yep. Start again with a new demo and possibly a new crim. I have tried both your settings and am unable to replicate your results.
