V 1g is in post 1.

I left a couple of thingies out when transferring stacking over from BASA, including deleting the stack TP line when the basket closed. So, SB found the line in place when a subsequent main trade triggered, so tried and failed to adjust the tp of the new trade.

Problem solved.

Regarding new possible features, just today same trend determination rules as BASA would have avoided us to loss about 280 pips so far... sure there will be the occasional winner as well, but trading mechanically inside both MA lines seems to be more than a random lottery than anything else.
Also as with BASA, the location of 60MA always should be above 240 for buys and below for sells, otherwise we´ll also get many bad trades such as this one with euraud, it opened 2 buy trades with the 60 below the 240 and one resulted in a loss and the other one is currently opened and doesn´t look good either.

Obviously with this filter it will open fewer trades but we´ll know the ones that get opened have a better chance of ending up in positive territory... what do you think?

Trend determination:
60 period LWMA > 240 period LWMA: market is trending up and we are looking for buys when the market is above the 60.
60 period LWMA < 240 period LWMA: market is trending down and we are looking for sells when the market is below the 60.
no trade when the market is in between the 240 and 60.

Here is what is going on one of my demos:

It got some Rogue trade alerts: Note that the CHFJPY alert occurred at 11:56:31 no CHFJPY trade shows up in the history until 15:00
At 15:00 a CHFJPY trade opened at 108.529 - it should have opened close to 108.100. Also I had the MA Stacking filter on for main trades and it does not look like the criteria were met because the MAs were sloping down.
Many of the preceding trades also opened many pips away from their intended open. Would using pending orders solve this?
At 15:56 a CHFJPY stack trade opened and closed in one minute.

The same thing happened on EURUSD, NZDUSD, and GBPJPY
four stack trades opened and closed immediately
my settings are:
MaxTradesAllowed=4;//A value of 1 turns off stacking
StackDistancePips=20;
StackBreakevenProfitPips=10;//Dynamic - multiplied by OpenTrades
StackTrailingStopPips=10;//Dynamic - multiplied by OpenTrades
BreakEven=true;
BreakEvenTargetPips=20;
BreakEvenTargetProfit=2;
I wonder if the breakeven and stack settings are interacting since both breakeven order modification and the opening of the stack trade are occurring almost simultaneously.


Also I got the following errors in a log file:
2;75;C:\Program Files (x86)\FXDC-1\experts\Simple Bob-1e-SL40.mq4;859:25;'take' - variable not defined

And one more thing while this demo with forex.com has opened 20trades, my demo with FXCM has opened 11 both with the same pairs and MA stacking on. Is one of them an ecn. when I load the corrected version I will use the same initial settings on both to see if there is a broker dependence

Also check these AUD sells and look what happens when 60 is above 240 and you have the great idea of selling (audjpy), and on the other hand if you sell the proper way, with the 60 below 240 (audnzd) you end up in positive territory... coincidence? :D

I am sure it is frustrating and I know they would piss me off

So how do you want us to report the problems? I thought the screen shot would help. I have it set to show the journal which lists the take profit error and the alert message as well.

Is it me or doesn´t always respect the Sto7 rule of buying above 20 and selling below 80?

I´m pretty sure Steve would like to burn me alive right now for posting so many screenshots but i don´t know any other way to show something that´s just not right, and a buy with Sto7 at 80 seems to be the case... :D
