Hehe. Once you have learned mql4, you will discover it is far from difficult to be as good as I am. I have learned (well, learned to program in) a number of computer languages; mql4 is child's play by comparison with any of them.

Good on you. Go for it. You will not regret one second of the time you spend doing so - and when I cannot help you there are the likes of TIG/sq/Matt waiting in the wings and only too happy to help as well. Guess how I know this to be true?

Many people reading this post will probably be thinking "I would like to do that too but just don't have the time or ability".

However even a small time investment in learning a little about Empty4 programming will bring great rewards.
It takes relatively little time and brain power to grasp the basics - enough to be able to 'read' the code behind an EA for example.
If you eventually decide you want to be as good as Steve or some of the other gurus around here, then yes you need time, dedication & a logical brain - the Law of Diminishing Returns.

So my advice is always to 'look under the hood', so that code no longer holds a mysterious magic like quality, only available to a select few magicians.

Trading has been slow, however i do determine when to on or off the bot.

I will post an update of the ea soon, the update comes with rsi filter, but i'm not sure the code is right cos the bot still takes trade outside the rsi filter, perharps Steve or some other senior coders can help us take a look.
