Any chance of adding Hedging

lets say at -30 Pips trigger Hedge at 200% of original position.

with options to close both trades at break even

or close both posits at + XYZ pips?

Also option to hedge the hedge = not that I would use it other than to set it to FALSE

I do not want to integrate it in the allPairTradeManager, but for hedging you can use the HiddenPendingEA

Hi Milanese,

Due to some missing additional explanations on post 1, I´d like to ask some questions, concerning the parameters resp. settings.
I´m wonder, that after 500 downloads, the followers do not ask questions concerning this EA?

1. CalculateInitialTakeProfit

“With the new function CalculateInitialTakeProfit=true; the trade manager will using the adr to calculate a TakeProfit for the trade if no TakeProfit is already set”.

Do you mean the “ATR-indicator” and what calculations will taken place internal?
BTW: If MinSLDistance in conjunction with initial SL and TP = true, I assume that MinSL Distance will be substitute automatically?

2. Settings for basket-management

I assume, if basket management is set = false, the subsequent RM (Risk-Money)-settings are set out of order?
But I´m not firm, what will happen in conjunction, if Individual- and Basket-management = false? Similar: Is it mandatory to set individual = true, when basket-trading should not execute, does RM still works for individual? It is a little bit confusing for me. Might be that the settings are for individual as also for basket-trading?
In that sense, is it necessary to enter than “0” for the RM-settings, if RM-control in generally is not requested for both conditions? It is not clear to me, in what conjunction (Basket and Individual) the two parameters operate.

3. TradeOnlySymbol (not yet available)

It´s because I still miss the function to manage only the trades of a certain symbol/pair, the APTM is attached.

4. What is the function of display gapsize?

5. Trailing

I still work on an additional post referring trailing methods. I´m insecure to publish it here in the thread, because the MPTM and APTM (AllPairTradeManager and HiddingPending) provides already some trailing possibilities.
Anyway from my point of view, it is an important and essential issue and I`m afraid, it could be misplaced, because the complexity and the construction would require to start at first with a separate trailing expert to collect experiences. It´s to avoid mismatch and confusion by blowing up the existing experts, although certain trailing-moduls are already available.

Comments about this issue welcome.

the APTM uses here the atr 5 for the TF you have selected in PERIOD_FIVE, the minSLDistance is security feature if the adr TP or the automatic calculated SL would be to near for a valid SL/TP

yes the subsequent basket management setting will only work if you have set Baseketmanagement to true.
The other settings are onlt for individual trademanagemnt working, but you can set both to true, so the APTM will use both with some execptions, like that the basketmanager will always manage all trades. Here is for sure much place for further improvment..

I will add this ability to a further update. Maybe there will be a new designed TM for this in future, depends on my time and on the user request for this..

none, it is a fragment from my shell I had simply forgotten to delete it..

It is a very complex theme and I am happy for every input, as moving the SL in win is one of the most delicate thingies in trading, the target is always to let winners run as long as possible, but too to avoid the winners can return to losers, not easy to handle in changing market situations.

I attached the EA, whereas a single order were already open without SL/TP settings.
If the APTM is attached, it seems to me that the TP does not perform correct.

Individual Trade = true,
Basket = false
UseManualSettingSL_TP = true

Initial SL = 15
Initial TP = 25

BE-trailing = true!!!

EURUSD order:
entry buy = 1.15620
SL = 1.14581 = correct placed as defined
TP = 1.22871 = 72 pips ???, sometimes no TP for an open order

I did expect, that the APTM should perform the settings, because SL did execute as defined.
It is curious, because afterwards entering a further order the SL/TP-settings, especially the TP with APTM were performed correct, whereas the EA was already working.

Hope that helps to identify, whats going wrong.

If the manual price not can be set because the distance is lower as the minSLDistance selected, or can not be set for an old order because the actual price is to far away the APTM uses the automatic calculation or the minDistance setting in all this cases you should check your settings, in your exp you selected 15pips initial SL and 25 pips initial tp if you used the OOTB setting for the MinSLDistance 35 you inputs were automatic overwritten

The SL-settings work as they should. The problem concerns only the TP and why the TP will not placed even when the price did remain in the price-range in regard to the settings resp. defined distances.

Please try an unused pair, enter a new order, than attach the EA, considering my SL/TP-settings and you will see, what I mean, concerning the TP.

works perfect here, I set the initialTp to 50 pips and UseManualSL_TP_InitialSetting to true opened a GBPUSD BUY at 1,51350 TP was set at 1,51850..
sorry I do not see any problem...

Hi Guys I was wondering if anyone can help me. I have been looking for a ea trade manager that will mange in the way I have listed below.
I have been looking for a few days now and testing all types of trade managers on FF and on the net but all have failed to do what I want it to because of either out of date or bugs in the programing. :arrrg:

What I do is set two pending orders manually one is a Buy Stop and one is a Sell Stop at different price levels.

Basically what I need is a manager that will

1/ Cancel the opposite pending order when one of them has been opened.
2/ Set stop loss at 50 pips
3/ When trade has reached ten pips in profit close 50 % of the lots and move stop loss to break even plus one pip and let the rest run for 300 pips
3/ If the variables can be changed that would also be great too

If any one would be kind enough to programme this I would be most grateful.

take a look to the hidden pending EA it should be able with the right setting to do all this...
