Matt, The actual program that you saw was written by Peter Amaral of tradingfives.com many years ago. He has newer software than what you saw on the video. The old software, the same as the video I like the best and find the easiest to use. You could email him and ask whether the program is till available and if so the cost. You could also mention some of the research being done on Empty4 on this forum. Pedro |

Thank you Pedro, I will try an get in touch with him. I ask primarily because it is with the development of HGI/Hurst/Matrix in mind and I believe there is a strong correlation between the three that warrants investigation. We have through yourself, Rene, Bob, Al et al a wonderful and powerful tool here and my curiosity has gotten the better of me! I will keep you updated on what I can find out! Regards, Matt |

Being new, I was following the various threads on the board and thought I had found where the latest system and discussion was. I was confused that there was no discussion at all and I thought this board was dead. Then I happened upon this HGI area and saw that this is where all the action is now. I wanted to show some charts combining the HGI, Hurst and Matrix/Delta charts and how they compliment each other very nicely. This is for GBPUSD from Dec 8-12, 2014. The top chart is the HGI and Hurst indicators. The middle chart is the Matrix/Delta solve for that week which was done ahead of the market for that week. The bottom chart is how the actual high and low points turned out for that week. The Matrix/Delta chart is generated by averaging charts from the past over certain time intervals. The more data you have, the more accurate is the result - this is why the high/low points can vary. The chart says nothing about price or trend strength - it only says something about time - at what time can you expect a high or low point at times during the trading week. The width of the red lines indicate the general time frame that that particular high/low point is expected. Some periods will be longer (ie. from low#2 to high#3) and some will be quite short (ie. from low#4 to high#5). It can give a general plan for the day. For example for Tues, it said to expect a low very early in the day with a high point around the middle of the day and then moving lower for the rest of the day. For Wed., it said to expect a high point at the start of the day moving to a low point but once the low point was in, then it would move higher for the rest of the day. If you look at the HGI large arrows, these correspond quite well to the expected Matrix turning points. So if you are within a time range for a turning point and you get a large arrow, you can be very confident that the turning point has been reached. |

Hi Pedro, This is quite amazing, gives a lot of confidence of where to get in and out, the most difficult part. Could you or someone tell me how to customize the Fib's 0-100-200 without altering the standard one? Have been using the cross hair and then an horizontal line. Merry Christmas and an exciting pips harvest 2015 to you and all. ![]() |

I think this is a really stellar good point. Hurst may not be as accurate on lower time periods as on higher time periods but ... I still constantly return to the idea that you could be given the perfect system but if you do not have the proper psychology as a trader you will find your self doubting yourself and staying in ... too long in bad trades and cutting short good trades . This indicator really helps with that kind of a trading psychology. When you solve that problem you become a much better trader. Cheers, Doug |

Does an EA exist with the HGI AND the HURST philosophies both incorporated? If so.. its the true holy grail. |

Hi all ! I am testing too with TMA centered 40 and 88 on M30 (to have the display of TMA from H4). That's look nice, so I tested on EA backtest to see what happen. I noticed that the EA close the trade at -10 as you can see on the screenshot enclosed, I don't know why because I set SL at 50 and TP 50 Moreover, the SL was modified to the same value than TP Someone has any ideas why or it's my fault ? Merry Christmas all !! |

In case someone might find this useful I put together a Hurst Target indicator. Doesn't tell us anything we can't already work out, but plots the swinghigh/swinglow of the last move, the crossover point, and the projected extension. Parameters can be changed for the extension. The pic says it all. |
