A rough observations from testing that I have yet to confirm. An ALR 1% target (with a sufficient account) seems to recover the repeat losses and then some, making it much more profitable. Risky though and more less feels like trading ALR alone on amped up risk.

Hi Tommaso, quick question. What will happen if I change the ALR zone pips and Target pips while in the middle of a series of ALR turns? Will it still manage the trade with the new inputs or is it advisable to wait for the ALR turns to complete their cycle to target profit before altering these inputs? I ask because its seems to me that the DD can be addressed by altering these inputs according to the ATR (still confirming this, but it appears so thus far).

you should wait for a new turn, as it is not previsted to change this values in a open serie..
with the latest version of the ALR trademanger you could experimental do this, as it has more "intelligent" addaption code inside (this one can too trail and addapt the calculations to trailing)

As I look at this, I am thinking that a "direct" correlation or adjustment based on ATR is not what is needed because ATR lags and spikes too much based on errant moves -- adjusting the ALR based on really high or really low ATR readings might lead to poor results, at least with the Flow anyway. My initial thought is that, at least for purposes of this EA, or a hybrid of it, is three input ATR zones, each with different input ALR settings. That is, zone one might be ATR less than 80, Zone two ATR80-120, zone three ATR greater than 120, etc I am thinking three zones might be sufficient, but this is only based on me testing random historical intervals with different ALR settings (this is very difficult to test). The odd part of course is when ATR crosses zones while in the middle an ALR series.

you can with the latest ALR TM EA of corse deactivate the ATR calculations.. and change manual the zone inputs during a turn, the only thing you have to do is to delete the old pending order manualy..

Did you made any manual intervention, have you enough free margin?
And check if you have the EA only one time on an EURUSD chart present.
