I like the idea because it supports the "slope direction" idea I've been promoting. But in the second example, the D1 slope is ABOVE its MA, isn't it?

I must be applying the Ma wrong. It's looking at the D1 slope value on the last 21 H1 bars, so after 21 bars it converges with the D1 slope. How did you set up your MA on the indicator?

If you are talking about the Eur/Usd the D1 slope is below the MA. That is why it is a short trade after it also crossed on the H1, good for almost 80 pips. I am using a 21 SMA.

If you are talking about the Eur/Usd the D1 slope is below the MA. That is why it is a short trade after it also crossed on the H1, good for almost 80 pips. I am using a 21 SMA.

One other comment about the MA's. I'm using Neo's MTF TMA slope indicator, and the chart is set to H1. And so in the H1 TMA window the MA is set to 21. In the H4 window, however, you have to set the MA to 4*21=84. And then in the D1 window, you have to set the MA to 21*24=504.

That might explain some of the difference.

I see where I got confused. The middle pane I was looking at was the H4 TMA indi & MA, not the D1. It's hard to tell when you cut off all the labels &etc.

You are right, they are not labeled. Anyway I set up as H1 on top of H4 on top of D1.

Could you explain how do you attach a moving average to a secondary window of an indicator. Tried to drag Moving Average indicator to NT TMA slope windows, but nothing happens. Thanks in advance
