Thanks for your responses, much appreciated. Your suggestions have helped to clarify my thinking - it's amazing how sometimes it's hard to see the wood for the trees in this game. I'll definitely try taking all the solid HGI signals on demo and see how it goes - there's no doubt that confidence in the system will ultimately much solve the dilemmas I've had. And I agree that taking the trade and holding until the exit signal is the way to go.

Great input all :good:. Hard to resist the temptation to tighten up stops too early but clearly trading from signal to signal appears the better way to go with HGI.

Great job, im in that region right now as well, with some of the same trades. I suggest selling gbpaud as well. eurcad should be going down as well, with cadchf going the other way. May the pips be with us all

ps, i trade daily, so don't expect quick results.

There was a rad 2 days ago but it still hasn't broken clean through. it has been going down very slowly ever since and today was the first day that it went positive for me. I expect the trend to continue now. Get on before it's too late i'd say.

How many pips do you expect from a signal?
There is a lot of pressure on it so further downside is possible
but it is trying to go through a major level and the CAD has already lost a lot of ground due the sharp falls in the price of oil .
Also, USDCAD seems to be having a bit of a rest and we are in a new year so there could be change in the air :)

I expect profit. Nothing more and nothing less. Since I'm on daily it's easy to monitor my trade, so i don't use SL or BE. I'm a noob so maybe that's a bad decision, but we'll see. So far, i'm doing great with this indicator. :D

Agreed on the major level thing, yet i still think it will happen
