Re: 10.6 EDSEL
NanningBob,
My theory on the learning CT, was that once market volatility drops in summer, Trend wont be profitable, and CT will.
Now you have been trading this longer then anyone, so does my assumption hold water? *

Off topic maybe.. but noticed that in you chart the swap values seem to be 0. I have the same problem and don't know how to solve it.
Any ideas why this is happening ?
Matt

Some brokers dont input into the Empty4 the swap charges, especially in demos.matt_32 » Fri Jan 24, 2014 5:08 am wrote:95026862 » Fri Jan 24, 2014 6:57 am wrote:Wow cool bob it really does work !

CT or/and Range trading work very well until you hit periods of extreme volitility. These are the times when those who promote martingale type system get their heads handed to them on silver platters. OK JPY turn is next. Man look at it run but that was to be expected with the bad China news. Aud, nzd down JPY up, we have marked that story before.lonelytrader » Fri Jan 24, 2014 4:45 pm wrote:NanningBob,

Not a good time to be range or CT trading. Time to trend trade so follow the run bars.

I expect the JPY will run until the beginning of next month. Its done this before, end of the month strengthen beginning and middle of the month weakening. This run will make them do .............????

Re: 10.6 EDSEL
Hi all,
for the target specification I use an unusual method.
I create an Fibo-Extension to the first upward wave. Normally we do that to the downward wave.
But I figured out, if I create the Fibonacci Extensions with the measure of the first wave of the
new direction, I see clearly my targets.
At normal trends, the numbers 161,8, 261,8 and 300 was hit perfectly. At CT it works different.
Often runs the price to 300 and corrected back to 200.
For me works that fine!

I think you misunderstood my question,
Is the summer time still volatile enough to trade trend?
or do we need to learn CT to make money in summer?
