Yeah, I know :( I tried BASA on a lower timeframe... One setup to look for sigs only on the TF that it was on, The other geared towards the next TF up... I guessed the numbers for SL... Guessed wrong, eh? ;)

Hey, is use the BaS EA since 2 month on H1. I got 2 trades in this time. I think a little bit less but it doesn´t matter. Since tree days he switch to "paused during a massive spread event". The spread is between 1.8 and 2.3. Does anybody know was the problem could be?

Sometimes I get that message "paused during a massive spread event.." I just remove the EA and put it back in the chart...Then, I don't get that message anymore and ready to trade.

It's been very slow for the last couple weeks...nothing to write home about it!

BASA is supposed to spot when the spread has returned to normal, so I will check for a bug in the code.

@steve: thanks for watching...
@fchaman: i removed the EA a cuple of times but he always turn after a few seconds in to the paused mode. The spread for my broker is normal an he works before with the same spread. i don´t know why but from last friday he is crazy :)

I just want to start by saying that I have read the entire BASA user guide, and love the strategy.... I placed all of the Moving Averages, RSI-TMA slope indicators... But, I'm a little clear about somethings.

Please take it easy on me... I was wondering if you open several charts (10) for 1 hour time frame, do you have to change the LtfTimeFrame from the Default 0 to 60 (for 1 HR charts)?

Also, For Lots size @ the top of the settings, if you put (.1) will that tell the bot that, that's the MAX Lot size you want or... every position?

Do you have to apply the EA to every chart?... and If you do, will it mess thing up, or will everything be ok?

For the EA to take BUY/SELL positions, is there a setting I'm missing?... Looks like some things are setting up pretty nicely according to the manual but it's not taking position.

Lastly, just want to confirm that if you don't manually put all the Moving Averages and RSI-TMA onto the Chart the EA will not work, right?? Thank you for clearing these things up for me community folks!

It seems you don't have read the first post and the UG well, please read it again and after that the last about 40 pages in this thread and if you ,after you have done it, have still questions, please feel free to ask them here but after reading .

The strategy was originally designed to be traded on the H4 chart...some people have achieved varying levels of success placing it on 1H. I personally prefer and have more success with 4H, however I think those that are trading on 1H chart are using the EA OOTB.

Yes...the original EA that is located in post 1 has to be loaded on every chart

The EA is hard coded to take Buy/sell trades as the set up occurs at the start of the 4H candle. The 21 & 55 EMA's also need to stack up correctly for the trade to be taken.

You don't need to load the MA's etc on the chart for the EA to work...it will call the indicator's required, however most of us prefer to have the visual confirmation as well.
