A week into the Empty4 'upgrades', I haven't shut down my live platform yet just in case Cowboy Go Markets decide to do a forced 'upgrade' without telling anyone, so still trading live on build509.

I have set up a demo platform this morning which is build 604 to start testing BASA in this new environment and note the following:

1. RSI2-TMA 4H indicator only shows up when I loaded it as a .ex4
2. BASA v2p .mq4 is showing as 'greyed out' and after compiling it recieved the following errors:

A victim of the coders using dots in the variable names.... another EA gets hit!
No worries, easy fixes for the coders.

If you can't wait, remove the mql file and only use leave the ex4 - the clowns at Empty4 say that will work, but nobody will call you crazy if you have your doubts!!

I re-started by Forex.com and GP platforms on an XP machine and they didn't update...hmmm

I would like to know if you still using the EA on the 4h chart only and how much trades you got per week or during the entire usage from August till now.

Yes I am still trading BASA on 4H chart...read through the thread and learn the strategy, also if you had done that you would have read in just the last 2-3 pages my comments and results with BASA.

I don't know how many trades BASA has taken, and I don't have time to count them. I will so that BASA is not a heavy trader, so if you're looking for a trading tart this is not it. I have also made my thoughts known on this a number of times in this thread, so again please read first.

FWIW again: due to crazy travel schedule &etc I never got shifted over to 2q on H4 -- still running r2s2 on H1. And it's done a bit better since my last post. Since 1 Feb it's up about 1.3% closed trades, 1.5% equity. Won't make you rich, and I still need to move to H4, but it's interesting that it turned around so abruptly.

Hi ,

Hoping to get around to update MTF version for build 600.
Unfortunately, doing it also means having to update Steve's shell to build 600.
Hopefully would be able to find sometime to get it completed.....or someone else beats me to it. (ahem...Steve....)

P.S: tried a brief moment ago, looks like a few simple edits do the trick....just need to settle a few more intricacies and BASA MTF 2t should be up soon....stay tuned !

This has recompiled without any error or warnings on my end with the new editor.

As a note to other programmers, i followed the suggestions in http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread. ... ost7268388
and replaced StringSubStr with StringSubStrOld to avoid any quirky behavior.
StringSubStrOld is a function that you have to add in yourself as mentioned in the post.

Havent the time to put this in a field run yet...let me know if you come by any bugs.

My testing with 1h has not been successful, probably going to run ver mtf on a 4h demo.

Made another mini-update to my post.
Added the indicator for build 600.
A minor change...now indicator compiles without any error or warning.
It seems to work fine on the terminal.

As a note, the v600 code will not work properly in the old build.
