Since applying HGB version 2q, on my three broker accounts I have gained +16.9%, +16.2% and +11% respectively in the past 24 hour or so. Granted they are all demo accounts, opened with just $1000 each, but it really shows the potential for the HGB to work successfully on a live account.

I have just loaded v2r and looking forward to seeing its response to the ECB Press Conference later today.. :smile:

I won't trading live until mid Feb, just to let the market settle after our recent Black Swan Event.

Hi Steve and Barry, I wrote the post below but I think that I may have jumped the gun. The price would need to have moved more +ve (ie 100 pips above the opening price) before the Jumping SL is moved to the next level (50 pips above the opening price). :oops: :oops:

Hi Steve

I noted that you have made a modification to your BE and JS code on the Pipcruiser's Pipmasher thread and was checking if it also affected HGB.

I have been attempting to set up the HGB EA with JS in combination with pending orders. I have set my TP very high (1000pips) so that it would not be hit and have opening SL set at 100 pips for all the pendings. I then have a JS set to 50pips

My plan is that as price increases it would continue to the take the pending trades (opening more and more lots) and the JS would then move all SL to 50 pips behind the price as it increases.

AS you can see from the chart the pending trades are being opened but the SL is only advancing to the opening price.

I think the idea may work as the increasing lot size, with a good move (see chart), really produces a lot of pips but then I loose them when it retracts back to the SLs.

That is very similar to what I posted two pages back. I am using the Trailing Stop set to 50 pips. It advances to the opening price + 5, and no further.

Could you please confirm that your settings are working. Cauz i see 30min TF issue:
This morning USDJPY trade was simply ignored ( big arrow and wave on same candle).


- All other types of trades are disabled. (only trendwave left enabled)
- lookback set to Trendcandleslookback 1 ; Wave lookback 5
- Using TF 30 mins
- HGI version 15.06
- HGB version 2r

Am i doin wmth wrong?

I have discovered that in the calculation of the "reached profit target" we are just refering to the day of the week (Monday, Tuesday,....).
The result is, that the cashprofit is calculated also for the last Thursday and I dont get any trades, because last Thursday was a good trade day.

Good point and something I will address when I think about it - only needs an extra line of code.

In the meantime, lower the number of days showing in your History tab.

A close trade wave option on the MPTM EA with a time frame option , could help to close trades on a lower time frame . I look at 1 hr charts for early warnings of a probable reversal when trading 4hrs .
