And by the way I use 15 pips level both on EURUSD and GBPUSD. The best options to use it would be Gold and Silver but I had some trouble because there are different level values (1700,xx not 1,xxxx) and it did not work.But I did not spent much time on that pairs however they are very volatile especially silver.

Hi Dietmar,

On the screen maybe it looks ok, but could you please answer how many shorts trades should be executed based on the chart?
Based on my knowledge 3 at first level and 3 on second, but the GRIS did 5 shorts on 1st and 5 shorts on 2nd level and thats is the case. Please check it if you don't mind (trades are below the chart on my picture).

At point C there should be 3 x short level 1 trades be triggered
at poind D there should be 3 x short level 2 trades be triggered

maybe there where still old pending orders there? ... because in the screenshot you see the arrows at the level lines and there it looks all ok

start that again in your strategy tester only for that day to analyse ...

I agree. I use it on real account and today was everything ok but this what worries me is backtesting in January 2011. It blow up my strategy tester accounts and that is why I was very intersted to know why and the only reason is that described in previous posts. But until it will not work good on strategy testes I am afraid of some errrors.
By the way based on January and February 2012 the best hour for EURUSD is 07.00 GMT so 1 hour before London open. Any other later full hour (8,9,10 or 11) gave worse results. But this is only based on Jan and Feb 2012 tests. The best levels are 15 pisp also.

I have absolute no skill in coding ... I could not change anything in the EA code if there is a bug ...

so there is no need to send me the set files ...

and, please be warned, I am not more trading that at fixed times ... at first I always have to take a look at the chart and analyse the last session b4 I let the EA work.

Dont do that in your money account (trading at fixed times).

In latest version there are no trading hours, at least I have no such a information in my EA.

hmmm, I changed that in MetaEditor, compiled it and suddenly all installed EAs are working well?

Can someone confirm, that I díd it right?

hmmm ... watch at it when your br0ker time is something with 23:xx

I can not see that in the settings, only in MetaEditor ... that option was implemented in an earlyer version ...

That doesn't look right to me, Dietmar. The "bool" statements were supposed to initialize the values to False, and then the "if" statements set them to True if the conditions were right. It looks to me like it will ALWAYS return true now.
