What I'm doing wrong?

Have you installed Recent Strength?
Have you placed Recent Strength on a chart?

The Recent Strength indicator must be installed and a version running on any chart.

The Recent Strength Indicator will create a file that will be located in your experts\files folder, for the EA to read.

The EA will still be looking for the file created by Recent Strength, place RS on a chart and it will create the file, you can just switch the use strength off afterwards.

Attached is my file, drop it in experts\files.

appreciate you posting your new version 1.02 with its many improvements, but it appears a little too heavy to run on my notebook.....the Empty4 demo terminal hangs quite a bit when i load the ea. could be becos the recent strength indi reading n stuff. tried a couple of times but lots of hanging, i closed some other Empty4 terminals but same thing.

would it be possible to post a version that is without the recent strength? cos i think the tma slope filter is really useful n i would like to give it a run.

so far v1.01 b is doing pretty great, would be nice to see if the slope filter improves things.

Yes it does slow the pc down if you have RS running on a few MT terminals.

The problem with Hanover was the fact it drained lots of the computers memory.

So I have got round this by having one Empty4 run the recent strength indi and create and update the Output---Recent Strength.CSV file.

you can download this nice little tool from here:

and create a symbolic file link from your other Empty4\experts\files folder to the Empty4 creating the Output---Recent Strength.CSV, make sure when creating the file link, you call the file Output---Recent Strength.CSV.

I have 6 Metertraders with Hanover being supplied from that file, you can also create a link folder using the above tool and aim all your indicators and scripts at one folder.

What is the input range for Strong & weak Threshold setting?

Looking at the Recent Strength imdi on the chart it seems that the level is between 1-100

I guess above 50 is Strong and below is Weak?

Hi,

I'm not using those settings, I'm just looking for both pairs to be heading away from one another, you can put 51 and 49 in the settings if that's your preference, 0 disables them.

If you do enter those settings, no trades would be taken unless, one is above and one below and heading away from one another.

thanks for your help, but i have yet to try the Hanover filter cos even when running just one instance of hanover, my notebook keeps freezing...i guess i gotta try it on my vps,.

but has the hanover filter led to better trades as compared to the one without?
so far on h1, i see the original ea is pretty solid. wrong trades r cut soon enough and the winners do run pretty hard.

I'll have more of an idea by the end of this week, the Hanover module checks that the pairs are moving away from one another, before taking the trade.

Am using MultiPairSwing Trader v.1.0.2. Have included RecentStrength.csv. The changes that you made with regards to reformating the output to fit different size monitors is really appreciated. Thanks! I did make one change and that was to change all occurrences of 'wW - 300' to 'wW - 275'

However, I noticed that the fourth, fifth and sixth buttons have been defined, but not included on the output to the monitor. Notice comments below:
