I think this EA needs a default stoploss option based on ATR level or similar...

Hi benzak! first of all thanks for all your work Ive seen to put on this topip! Im new to this forum and I come from a very for newbies forum like Donnaforex... Im not a coder or engineer like you.. but Im interested in this EA you devoloped... WHY? Ive seen in your demo account at myfxbook and has made 117% in just a few motnhs. IMPRESSIVE! Im not sure what settings I have to use.. nor how to properly install it.. also Ive seen this topic its freezed since a month and a half.. Its something bad with you or your EA? maybe those who are using it live are getting rich and so do you.. xD Personally I have the intention of trading it live and make a donation to you.. I hope you can understand my english is not the best you can get =) One more time thanks for all this work you put in this project!!! |

Hi, you are welcome. I'm programming now for 4 years ea's for Empty4 and I tried really a lot of strategies, this ea is the best for single-pair-trade what I got out. I know it's high risk with no stop-loss, I only have a function which closes everything when the Drawdown is greater then the variable in the setfile. The actual really working version is the V1.04a with the according setfile, but I have to intervene manually when i see the trend turning. I set up a signal-service with mql5.com and you can copy it for free if you like. I send you a pm with the direct link if you like. I'm doing the programming in my spare-time and so from time to time i'm not in the mood to program or I need some distance to get new ideas, but I'm at the moment at the version V1.05a and I will post it here as soon as I got some working setfile for 1 year. Thank you for that, you can make a donation, when you got rich with this ea.  Yes I understand it.  You are welcome, I do this to share my work to get inspiration from other users here to perfect the system. Hi Banzak thank for your anser here! I have attached your B'n'B to a new demo account. It says NO TRADING TIME in the right top corner... Is it normal? just to check that I'm doing things right I have: ** Bears'n'Bulls_V104a.mq4 On EURUSD M15 chart settings: bears'n'bulls_v104a_eu_m15_v1.set (this one is only on the 8th page of this topis, is it the last version and the correct one to use?) also the template bears'n'bulls_v104.tpl attached to the chart as per your instructions ** Bears'n'Bulls_V104a.mq4 On GBPUSD M15 chart settings: bears'n'bulls_v104_gu_m15_v1.set (not for version a? Hi Banzak, I loaded V1.04a up on a live demo account as per the files located in the 1st post but for some reason it seems to not be executing the actual trade when it gets a signal. I left the settings exactly as per the set provided except the slippage factor which I changed to 3. It was set to only trade between 08:00 and 22:00. I have now changed this to 00:01 - 23:59 daily (for each of the 5 time periods to see if it solves the problem). What I have noticed is that the local / server time never update and have been the same since I started the EA - but I recall this bug being mentioned before... Let me know if there is anything I should check or if there is something you would like me to try... Regards LenH Please see screen capture below... |

Hi LenH, the local / server time is still a bug, the time doesn't affect the robot its only for the user. Please set the trading time back to 8:00 to 22:00 otherwise you will not get the same results as my demo. At the moment I'm working at the vesion V1.05a and I will post it here as soon as I have some good results. Regards, Banzak |

Hi Banzak, Ok I have reloaded the EA following these exact steps: 1. start Empty4 - no charts loaded at all. 2. Open EUREUD 15 min chart - autoscroll disabled but chart indented. 3. Ensured EA's can run and made sure settings under Tools -> Options - Expert Advisors are set to: - Enable Expert Advisors - Allow live trading - Allow dll imports - Allow external experts imports 4. Dragged the B'n'B EA onto the chart. 5. Loaded the set file and accepted values as is - EA confirmations show it's working and smiley is present. 6. Right-click on chart and loaded the template file. If the above steps / procedure is correct - well let's wait and see if it picks up a trade the next time a green / red arrow appears... Will let you know... LenH |

LenH I think I can answer to you... The first entries are done based on H1 time frame, and not in 15M chart you see when load the indicator/template, Thats why you see the green/red arrows and no trades being made.... this is ok... EA will start doing trades as soon as H1 gives the order, dont worry everything is ok. Good Luck! Esteban |
