Dear AGT, I have seen your test of EVELYN 4, I'm little confused , because in jlcgarcia's thread 'Blessing: some new applications to play with' I find info below: So, I want to know if you are testing EVELYN3 or EVELYN4? and the setting on myfxbook is right(your real setting)? no typo? I made some changes in the portfolio. Now focussing on the Matilda - so far this bot is doing best with the GBPUSD. Would like to research some other pairs - so the other Matilda Empty4 aren't switched off ... so far. On the VPS (MANDL2007) I switched off the CF 3+5 and the Paparazzi - they are running further on the TGTFX account. No need to have them twice ... bcz: AND it's a clear picture for these bots: you could defenitly make money with them - using start capital of at least 5k (better more) and only 0.01 lot. BUT: you can't earn more then 1-2 % a month. AND there are defenitly periods of DD's ... sometimes they may last weeks ! No earnings during these periods. You must sit and wait .... and you'll tremble with fear - from time to time you'll even shake like a leaf ....  ... at the end you may win  It's strange ... but the only one of all these bots is the Matilda with GBPUSD ... haven't a clue why !  Anyway, some other new bots are included as well - mostly here taken from the threads of this incredible forum ! Started manual trading too - TGTFX1 account. I use basically the S&D zones + semafor on H4/D1 for manual trading. |

I made some major changes in the "portfolio" as you may have noticed already. That's done, bcz of focusing on some (possible) favorite bots. So the first one, possible playing the role of a favorite is the matilda. This is grid trader and as we no it for this type of EAs occurence of DD's is sure. A lot of patience and big pocket aside from the use of small lot numbers is needed to survive market (trend) storms - plus a tricky well coded bot like the matilda .As a result of my intensified turn to the matilda I created now a lot of new accounts with this bot running it with single pairs to have a closer and more detailed look to the bots results. These accounts (atm 16 !) are both on the VPS and computer station. Lokk here: http://www.myfxbook.com/members/MANDL2007 and here: http://www.myfxbook.com/members/TGT_FX  The mixed matilda accounts are running further ... the point is you see them often in huge DD's. Some pairs and their combinations may bring an account in serious trouble. Anyway I let them run ... in a longer way its an experiment interesting to for watching. The most important result so far is the observation that the recommended GBPUSD is really doing pretty good !  Look this one: http://www.myfxbook.com/members/MANDL20 ... 25k/941967 and this one too: http://www.myfxbook.com/members/TGT_FX/ ... -5k/913926 The behaviour of the balance and equity curves aren't typical for a grid trader in the GBPUSD case !  Usually these to curves sooner or later will be a long way away from each other .... unfurtunately that's the common picture !  Lets see, if we could catch some other pairs with similar good results like the GBPUSD !  Ok, what else do we have here ? The good old pals Paparazzi and CF Gold 3 are doing slowly but reliably. Let them run in a long term test so far - but atm they aren't favorits ... who knows what the future may bring ? Also, the Katherine and Maribel bot allow earnings ! But their gains are small especially in comparison to the DD's. So let them saunter to their monthly goals ... of some percents. The JPY_D1 Trader EA is a turtle - but it is doing the job with reasonable DD's - so may be it could show advantages in the market storms that will come ? Wont switch them off. And we have the SEBGRID - a grid trader too, but with special other characteristics included in a seemingly not (completly) bugfree code that no one knows thoroughly.  Anyway Charles, the TO of the appropriate thread (thx to him !) used this bot successfully during months now - lets believe him and test that thingy further. :!: Last but not least two bots are included: the basket trader Once Upon A timeframe v. 1j and the ALR trader Trend Trading EA with ALR. The first doesn't gave a clear result so far, the second shows in my opinion a strange behaviour ... its opening slowly new trades, only 2 trades are closed at BE so far ... who knows will there be any move on that account - hopefully in the direction of wins Ok - so that's all for the moment. I wrote some comments about all the bots running now in tests in the "AGT's EA portfolio". These EA's are in the MFXB accounts "MANDL2007" + "TGTFX" The older ones are in the archiv "TGTFX2". Not all of them are loosers ! Wish you a nice summer and more green pips starting with more market power in september  P.S.: And yes - in the TGTFX1 account I'm trying manual trading ... mixed or may be even poor results  |

Nice update description, thanks for running these, it's helpful to all of us! For CF Gold, I had a look at the fxbook stats and I have some suggestions if I may? :youknow: Currently running 22 pairs. I suggest removing maybe 10 or 12 of these, for sure the exotics (becuase they have high spreads) I looked at - number of trades (why run a bad performing pair when it hardly trades at all?) - I always remove the lower trading pairs - exposure (find the current worst performing pairs) - I consider removing some of these - summary performance (find best and worst) - These are the pictures I looked at, perhaps you would consider removing some of the "not so good pairs" to get a more realistic picture of bot performance? It is true that more pairs = more trades = potentially more profit, but some pairs just are not worth it. One more thing on number of trades - if a pair has a low number of trades you need to figure out if it is because there were no opportunities OR it was in a trade for a long time (preventing trades in the opposite direction). So compare the pairs from the summary list to the pairs on the 15 days for longer list. Removing some also helps your CPU focus on the ones that really matter. I would remove USDDKK USDTRY GBPNZD EURCHF NZDJPY SGDJPY And pairs that have had trades open for 15 days or longer (danger sign), here is the list (btw - I've never had luck with USDCAD) EURJPY USDCAD GBPUSD CADCHF BGPCHF EURCHF USDSGD Only suggestions from my experience running this bot. I don't run a demo like this because I run this bot live on 2 accounts and I look closely at the results of those accounts. These are just my thoughts, hope you find something I've shared to be useful.  |

Hi. AGT sir May I ask when Matilda runs with multi-currency pair, Do you adjust the "HedgeStart" according to how much balance in the running account? And I also see 3K start balance demo in single pair, Is HedgeStart also set "20"? Thank you. |

Hmm ... I use the same setfile matilda Jose posted earlier for the multi + single accounts. But I feel you have some thing in your mind accordingly to the settings - right ?  So plz feel free making any suggestions ! (Is there something to improve ?) |
