Hi, I try to run a bot on my demo ...
Indicator is loaded into the correct folder.
But I have a problem with the indicator - I get the error - "Can not open file FlyingBudda expert ....."

Can anyone advise me how to deal with this!

Nope. Obviously, EA can't find it.

Andy, the positive equity on my demo keeps on going up. Ok, so it fluctuates but basically the graph has been moving upwards.

At the mo, closed trades have cost the balance $10 (start bal $2000). The current positive upl is just over $50, so i could close the whole position right now at +2% of opening balance.

I shall leave it to run. Excellent start.

Oh, and before anyone asks, ootb. I haven't a clue how Andy's version works 'cos I have been too busy to look at the code.

Basically, from the original concept the following changes have been made:
1) No initial trade is taken on the FB
2) Stacking trades are made once the reversal signalled by the FB is confirmed by the MA Cross
3) The position sizing in the stack is a classic pyramid so that you enter large at the outset where most profit should be and then half the position size with each stack trade.
4) Closure of the Stacks is the original 50% cull at a pullback bar

My usual goal for a system is 4% per day as that is what I used to average spread betting stocks so come on guys, let's get some improvement on the entries, and find a way to trade the flat points!

Started with a demo $10K account couple weeks ago with this EA only on EURUSD H4..With those pyramiding sell trades, the balance was doubled (close to $22K!!) by this Tuesday...the EA kept all the sell trades without exiting, and now close to a margin call, and the account is about to be wiped out!!

This is a great EA, except the exit strategy...need to be fine tuned....looks promising!

Which version do you have - the latest posted Tues 13th by me so you must have a much earlier version if running for two weeks.
The reason yours has done so well is you started testing it just after a valid FB reversal. Over a longer time period you get lots of invalid signals so it would not have been so good if, for example you had started on 28 November. The latest version doesn't take the fake signals but waits for the cross to confirm.
Not sure about the exit either - I think the latest release does that better according to my backtesting anyway. Only just fired it up on a new demo account so we'll see. Open on 27 pairs so should either lead to retirement or bust!

Hi, Andy,

I am testing your latest bot on Jan12 (timeDiff?) I guess for other is Jan13 "Joe2.mq4" and myfxbook link http://www.myfxbook.com/members/BullRun/joe2/209853

I placed it on 22 pairs and I noticed that the sequence start curling to .16 even if the 2st trade is a diff pair than the first. Shouldn't each pair start with thier own sequence ie .32, .16...? I guess if each start with their own sequence, I may not have enough margin to trade 22 pairs. Any idea which one is your intention?

Also, I don't know why AudNzd kept opening more buy trades even price kept falling?

btw, even if it has bugs, looks like this EA has legs. It is making some 2% floating profit :) and let see if it know how to close them. Thanks.

LOL - duh stupid me - That is what happens coding in bed with the flu! Of course the intention is to pyramid per pair, and of course I only had it open on one pair when testing. I will try and sort it over the weekend, unless anyone else can have a go - as I am kinda busy...

I am not sure of the equity requirement per pair. It is unlikely we will be trading each pair at the same time and the point is to run it with lots for a long time and see when it maxes out(!)

I think it will close properly but we will see.

Once I have sorted out the pyramiding I will look at the closing again, and try and workout what happened on AUDNZD
