hi to all,

is all the day that the EA, on trade eurjpy, change continuosly the SL from 98.975 to 99.075 although price is 70 pips over , JSL = true and BE=true.

I can't understood this behaviour.

I think you may have found a bug that we haven't tested for yet! The only trade management i have tested is the Candlestick TS not any of the other features. It is not recommended to have candlestickTS,Jumping stop and trailing stop all on at the same time! Just pick one and try that, i may add a check to ensure this cant occur in the future.

Sorry for asking this but I am not familiar with the coding, I tried to find out but can't..

What exactly are the conditions that are required to close an order (in this case when there is profit)

I feel like it is waiting too long.

Current default is on a colour change. Rob has been playing with a fixed TP. I use CandlestickTS, which i think is default in latest version. I agree that we need a better exit to lock in profit, it is one of those dilemmas with EAs. One option is to open two trades and close one at TP let other run, or open twice lot size and close half at fixed tp. Maybe use S&R or fibs, the list goes on. I dont mind adding bits if it will improve profitability but we need to be constructive or we can wreck a workable system, which happens far to often.

during the day I'd change the setfile as you have just said, with only one choice activated (JSL or BE) but without results, continuous order modify from 98.975 to 99.075.

Now I'm trying with only candlestick trailing stop and finally the continuous ordermodify are ended and the SL is positioned in the right place. Very good Mike!

I always liked S&R myself, but automatic indies for this aren't all that reliable. You might think about adding a round number option. If the bot sees a 50 or 100 round number between open and target, it takes the RN instead. Just a thought. :?:
