Stick with the drag and drop method, I tested that as well, and the ea picks up where it left off. At least if you have your basic three trades open.

Latest update in post 1. This is not much use as nobody can do anything with it until the markets open in 48 hours, but I decided to do something about it whilst I was thinking about it.

What I think is this: the jury is still out on this EA, but the fact is it keeps on closing those baskets at +6. I am a way from dropping this onto my live account yet - finishing the week with 6 trades open at a upl of -154 pips whilst looking for +6 is not entirely encouraging, but the performance this week is sufficient to allow me to keep the bot on demo next week - a rare occurrence.

So, I have added trading hours and a sleep period following a basket closure in the hope that this ea might have some legs (yes, ok, my OCCD was itching and I needed to scratch it with something uncomplicated).

More next week, no doubt.

Sounds great Steve, this an really exciting thread and EA(although it hasn't been all that profitable for me, perhaps due to me keeping changing settings and using shirt protection on MPTM).. really think this EA can turn out profitable in the long run using really small lots.

hmmm ... this system is good but still .... something is missing here. I like that this system is simple to understand ..... but how can avoid loss what appears when you dont had reach your profit and market changing direction suddenly. This is question. I try test my ZeroStopLossProfit about what I explained one of my earliest posts .... it have some good sides but also some bad sides too.

Cowboy Go Markets is up 2.6% since the opening bell. Sig Trader and FinFX have not done as well, but are in profit also.

I have removed the EA from my development machine demo. As coded, the EA landed with a basket of trades over 200 pips in the hole, whilst shooting for a TP of only 6 pips.

Not a lot of point in continuing as I was doing. Perhaps scoobs' Rsi thingy might point a way forward.

that is true ... when EA is able to make even a little loss and there is no stop function for that then it can make a big loss as well.
