Hi, many people have asked me about the version, parameters, etc, of the EA that it is running in the live account of my signature. I must remember you one evident thing: your psichological bias about a demo and a live account is very different. In a live account every point that the DD arises is causing you a terrible headache. A demo account will not prepare you for that. There is an aforism in Spain that says: "A toro pasado yo me arrimo más que Manolete", something as "it was as dangerous as seen the bulls from the fence". If you have the hope of living from trading, you must have a well founded account and as I have said above, same equivalent funds in reserve. But let's talk about the version of the forex Duck I am trading live (version 19). First, I must tell you that I have traded live all the versions of Forex Duck, and in the process I have acumulated some DD. That is the risk of experimenting with your live account. Second, If you run this EA, you will see that this version does not filter correlation, nor spreads. It filters swaps and has an exponential multiplier of 1.2 for the distance between trades. Third, internally, for filtering, it uses Stochastic and Support/Resistance. Fourth, when the EA opens a positions it asigns a take profit, but does not open any stop loss. You must say it is risky not having a stop loss. As I have said before, I only trade positive swaps (and I have not the urge of going out fast to close the position if the trade is in a loss) and it is very difficult to quantify where to put an stop loss. If you have any tested stop loss, please let me know. Fifth, when a trade is in profit the EA begins to trail the position inmediately. Never let a winning trade to reverse in a loss. I think this is the more painful aspect of trading: to see how a winning position turns out in a losing trade and it progresses in negative. Do no let it. One of the first texts on trading told me: never let a trade that is winning 15 pips to revert in losses. Sixth, money management. I am trading live with a gross account (besides the account in my signature). And I am trading live the Forex Duck with 0.01 lots for every 3,000 euros with 23 pairs. For someone of you it will be too much, for others too litle. You must find your equilibrium between risk and reward. Nothing more for now, and here it is the EA. Regards José Luis |

Thanks Jose. Do you set correlation to true on v19, or does the new duck engine reduce the risk internally so we may set correlation to true? Thanks |

Hi, I am using the EA live identically as I have posted with the correlación parameter false. I think the EA filters the pairs ínternally. Regards Jose Luis |

Hi, beginning next monday, I will be trading live three EAs: 1. CF-TOR-1150 4H RSI V7: (single pair EA) - Pairs: EURJPY, EURUSD, GBPJPY, GBPUSD, USDJPY. - Lots: 0,01 for every 1.000 euros. - Timeframe: 4 hours. -Required Xixi indicator (included in the zip file). 2. Market Spread Taker First EA H4 v4 (Multi Pair EA): - Pairs: all pairs except selling NZD. - Lots: 0,01 for every 1.000 euros. - Timeframe: 4 hours. 3. MSC-Scalper PBV v3 (Multi Pair EA): - Pairs: all pairs, but correlation is true (following Andy post about correlation I have rewritten part of the subroutine). Andy post is here: http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 70#p130494 - Lots: 0,01 for every 1.000 euros. - Timeframe: 1 hour. You can see now that the EAs have expiration, I think it is not a bad idea, following the success that has had the thread about single EAs petitions that you can find here: http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... f=5&t=4455 These EAs will expire 31.12.2015. Regards José Luis |

Hi, I am trading this EA live and an update seems necessary. As you can see in the parameters , I am trading it live with the correlation false and 0.01 lots for every 3.000 euros, and ignoring the swaps. Regards José Luis |

Hi, Every day I go to walk or run for one or two hours. As a full time trader I must do same activity, avoiding to stay seated all day in front of the screen. Before I go away I want to let you know the preset that it is running in the account in my signature. Could you identify the version of the EA? Regards José Luis |

Hi, I have been trading with grids as long as I can remember. For that I am following with interest the latest EAs posted in the forum that use grid trading. Also I read about the Remon Swing-and-Reaping System or Strategy, and simulated its operative. As a result (and mainly as an exercise of coding) I have included some of Remon ( and SH ) ideas in the following EA. Take into account that this EA is purely an exercise to experiment with some aspects of grid trading, and although I am trading it live myself, I use it for now with a lot of 0.01 and only with the gbpjpy pair. I am running this EA in parallel to the excellent SH Rise 'n Repeat EA with the only purpose of learning more about grid trading. Regards José Luis NEW VERSION IN THE FOLLOWING POST |
